"This property was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. The cabin was well stocked and very well kept. The lake was just beautiful and it was very easy to drive to the places we wanted to explore. Could not have been happier with our stay. "

"We had a lovely time staying here. Played games, watch movies, washed our clothing from our camping trip days before. We loved the proximity to Escanaba, Fayette, and Kitchitikipi. We were able to make a couple of little day trips and relax in the evening and this great home in the woods. Great yard for yard games too! The river and property is beautiful! "The house is located on the river and is fantastic. Really, you have got to sit on the deck and soak up the peaceful waters, watch the deer and eagles (yes, eagles), and other wildlife. The interior is fully functional and laid out really well for relaxation. Really appreciated the NetFlix too for late evening chilling. Cannot go wrong staying here. Owners were great to work with and communicated really well. We'll be back!"

"The host/owner was amazing. Only downside and in no way her fault or in her control is Verizon cell service doesn’t work in that area. That being said really want a downside seeing that people didn’t have there faces in there phones all weekend. Also very confident that she also owns and operates a convenient store attached to the property. Being in such a remote area it was useful at times. I highly recommend starting here. Like I said just/owner was an amazing person"

"Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. Even the neighborhood dog “Gus” was welcoming "

"The cottage was in a beautiful area of Escanaba. However, the entire upper peninsula of Michigan is beautiful. Escanaba has everything you need for a vacation. The upper peninsula has many points of interest. We really enjoyed the Pictured Rocks cruise."

And the kids lost their minds every time they walked out the door and saw Lake Michigan with a big cargo ship setting in port. My wife loved the coffee bar available to use. "We had three families totaling 14 people. This place was ideal! Plenty of bedrooms and beds for the adults and kids to pick. Plenty of bathrooms so no waiting! Plenty of space! Spent lots of time on the porch. Kids spent lots of time in the river! The whole place is homey and comfortable with everything you could need! With seven boys and a teenage girl it can be challenging to meet everyone's needs - this place nailed it! Hope to come back again."
