"It was clean and the host was very good at communication; however, it was in a very dangerous neighborhood and we did not feel safe. My husband had to leave a day before the three kids and I so we stayed somewhere else for our last night. There were numerous in-housed people on the streets, gunshots in the stop sign etc. In addition, there were not enough pillows for our family, and no laundry detergent. "

The AC unit and controls were a bit hard to figure out (very old system) but it worked well, and they supplied a standing oscillator fan for the bedroom that made it a better experience for cooling the place down to sleep in the summer heat during my stay. All in all, I would stay here again, but tall people be aware, the shower head is very low on the wall. I am 5’8”, and the shower head was mounted at eye-level. "I messaged the host immediately after I made this reservation because I needed to clarify something. They never responded. In fact they never communicated at all. Once I got there, the gate was broken, the shower drain was clogged, siding on the house was falling off, and the floor were buckled in multiple spots. For a short term rental none of these problems individually were terrible, but together with the unresponsive host made this stay pretty bad. I would not stay here again. "

"The apartment itself was nice, and we appreciated conveniences like the washer/dryer, spices and kitchen essentials being available already.
