Discover the ultimate spot for unwinding at Lake Port, situated a short distance from Pepin along the scenic Great River Road. Perched on a hill with stunning views of Lake Pepin, visitors will delight in the beautiful scenery and convenient location. The residence boasts attractive amenities including a connected two-car garage, a three-season sunroom, and Starlink internet. The expansive yard is perfect for enjoying a barbecue in the afternoon or a campfire experience under the night sky.

**It is important to note that this home is set on a hill above the train tracks along the Mississippi River. Guests often comment on how they enjoy hearing the trains go by! If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs along for your stay.

**If you plan to bring a pet please be aware that they can only utilize the indoor/outdoor kennel. Pets are not allowed in the house. Thanks!

Loved our stay at Lake Port!! Great location! Great views of the river. Lots of great restaurants and vineries nearby. The home was very welcoming and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Host was great in responding to request to book and any questions I had. I will definitely be booking further stays as it was such a great little get away!

My family and I stayed here for a family/friend wedding. Overall, it was a great stay and provided us plenty of room to be able to dress and get ready, unlike staying in a hotel. The place was fairly clean. They should sweep the ceilings for spider webs every other week. I did a full sweep of the house after discovering 2 spiders. The place has a pet kennel, but I would advise that, since you can't have dogs in the house, it's more suitable for bigger dogs who are used to kennels rather than your small house dogs. The kennel needed some cleaning, too. Don't plan on sitting down watching TV as the WiFi is very spotty. That is probably just due to the location. The communication with the renters was outstanding, and check-in and check-out were very easy. I would book here again.

Wedding weekend!

This property was amazing and we would definitely stay here again. Lots of space for everyone. 3 Bedrooms, plus sleeping accommodations downstairs. 2 family/living rooms and a fabulous sun porch. We spent a lot of time there. Beautiful view of Lake Pepin. It’s walking distance to the winery, which was perfect for the wedding events. I would highly recommend it!

Great Host House

The house was perfect for our group of friends visiting for the weekend. Plenty of space for sleeping / hanging out. The yard games in the garage were a nice touch and kept everyone entertained. Breathtaking view of the Mississippi out the back porch/yard. Great overall stay.

Amazing view from the sunroom and little patio, love love loved all the birds, esp watching the eagles. House was fully stocked with everything you could need. Host were very quick in answering any question. We love this area, so we would definately stay again

Very nice. Quiet …. More so than we thought it would be. Had Fox and deer visitors too. However, door locked to lower level so one bathroom. It wasn’t a big problem for us…. We weren’t there most of the time. Neat, clean, very convenient… nice viiews

Pepin Weekend Stay

Our family had a great weekend in Pepin. The listing was just as described. We really enjoyed the porch, especially since it rained on and off again throughout our stay. We even got to see a couple of eagles right out the window. Our bed was extremely squeaky. It was fine for a two night stay but definitely was not the most comfy. There was no cable or local channels, which was fine with us but worth noting. We would stay again if in the area. Pepin was a very cute riverside town!

Beautiful House with Inspiring View

This house has all the comforts of home and then some. We attended a wedding at the winery and this location is perfect - just down the road. Great view of Lake Pepin and you can enjoy it from the screened porch, patio or around the fire ring. Clean and in good order all around and the hosts were great - self check in is easy. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed here 2 nights for a wedding at the Villa. There were not a lot of options in the area for a large family so this was very handy and close by. The home could use a good deep cleaning though. Internet is very poor. Could not get coffee maker to work.

My Stay at Lake Port

The property was as advertised. It was quite comfortable. There are some "howevers". The screened in porch was great. In great weather, that is. Daytime temps were in the mid-90's. The porch was not air conditioned. There were no ceiling fans. Actually, there were none in the whole house.So we spent little time in the screened in porch. Which was the sole reason we selected this property. It stayed very hot in there into the night. Also...........there were no instructions on how to use the TV's. So we didn't use them. THh instructions for wireless internet were vague, so we didn't have that available to us. I could not locate a garage door opener. So-o-o-o............we would gladly go there again.... if the above were rectified.

Not ideal but works if you want to be close to town

Screened in porch offers a nice view of the lake but it was really hot. Therefore we could not stay in this part of the house long. Beds seemed old and creaked if you moved in the night and are very firm, which bothered some of our family members. TV in the living room did not work due to poor internet speeds. The basement space and tv worked fine.

Lovely place. Throughly enjoyed the views. Loved the trains passing below, and their sound lulled me to sleep. (we had train fans in our group). Location for our adventure in and around Wabasha/Kellogg area was perfect. Would suggest a working ice maker in the fridge. Also some wood for a fire pit. Anyone reading this review MUST eat at The Stonebarn pizza place! Amazing!
