"The property lists a kitchen but there is not. The is a refrigerator, plates/cups/etc and some plug in appliances, but washing dishes in a tiny bathroom sink was not ideal. There was laundry accessible and the house was very safe and comfortable during a hurricane. Just beware that if you are looking for a kitchen, there isn’t really. Otherwise the property was perfect for our stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully decorated, and conveniently located residence. It was somewhat difficult to find the first time due to all the cars parked on the road, making the driveway hard to find. However, once we found it, we were easily able to find our parking spot and get into the home thanks to the directions sent from Simone. The home is very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the earplugs as the frogs are quite loud at night."

"We, a family of 5, felt very comfortable at this location in Hilo. It was walking distance to a local pizza place, grocery store, farmers market, and even the beach. The house was very clean and the host has for sure thought about all the little things that a traveler would need for an extended stay. They had boogie boards, beach towels, a day trip cooler, not to mention the simple home amenities such as coffee, sandwich bags, fresh local cookies on check in, and even (my wife laughs at me...

"The Outrigger was perfect for our stay. It was just 2 blocks from Bayfront soccer fields so it made it very easy for us to get to and form the field for the Volcano Soccer Tournament. The home was very clean and offered a lot of amenities (Beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, air conditioning, large washer and dryer).The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Would highly recommend this place."

"The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. The water lily bloomed while we were there.The temp on the water heater needs to be turned up a little,...
