"Staff were very nice and helpful. Coffees and teas available all day which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was really good, (compliments to the chef) and the hotel entrance is decorated nicely. However the room was dated and disappointing. Cleaniness is not a priority unfortunately. The towels were stained, the bathroom door would not close, bathroom curtain was stained, hairs in the bathroom and on one of the towels, bathroom sink had a crack in it and one of the taps was broken, cobwebs and dust...

"Fab house very comfortable and superb location right on the beach opposite St Michael's Mount. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. Already planning a return visit."

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"We received a very warm welcome from the host. The room was very clean, spacious and with falbous Seaview. The breakfast was good and fresh. The host provided very useful tips in visiting and duning in Cornwall. Definitely we will revisit Cornwall and stay in Green Apple B&B."

But no internal phones, wardrobes are out of the ark, doors have very old lock system. No safe. No interactive tv screen. Hot water very hit and miss. Doors and frames have been repainted but are clearly very old and look very old! The view from the room was awful. Over looking old part of the building, rusting down pipes and unpainted rotting windows. Bed...

Staff were generally helpful but could not explain my check-out bill which contained items with confusing descriptions. i e drinks appearing as "lunch", etc. Hotel was in a good location, near beach and town center. Food was good and well presented."
