"Such a relaxing stay - just what I was looking for! Clare is a perfect host and offers a warm welcome.
The room was spotless and bed super comfy. My room had a window looking out towards the sea, ideal for taking in the view while sipping a cuppa.
Breakfast is everything you could want - plenty of choice, fresh fruits, and hot breakfasts cooked to order...simply delicious.
The beach is easily accessible a few minutes walk away, as is the South West Coast Path.

"We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session.

"Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car.
Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat.
Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door.
Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold.
Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention.
Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. "The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
