Great Weekend Away

We and four other families spent a long weekend here. It was a great location, plenty of room, lots of activities for adults and kids. Would definitely come back again!

Family vacation

Stayed for a long weekend, over all good. Had to make own beds when we got there, WiFi was not good. Hot tub worked well and was clean, AC worked, screened in porch was great as bugs were bad this weekend. Overall good, place could use a deep cleaning and some updating . Great for big groups!

Perfect Place for Team Retreat

We had an excellent stay in early May 2025. We had 15 adults (coworkers) all staying at the house and a few day-visit guests. The house accommodated us all perfectly and we had plenty of space for our whole group to spend time together working and playing.The kitchen was great for cooking large meals for up to 19 people at a time. There is a large pantry, six-top stove, large oven, and three refrigerators with a separate ice maker. The separate coffee and beverage bar is a great feature!We used the Blackstone grill for dinner one night and it was beautifully clean and ready for use when we opened it.The dining tables were large enough to accommodate our group and we could even get everyone squeezed around one table if we wanted to do a game as a group. There was enough indoor- and porch-seating for us to have large-group discussion sessions with the entire team while still enjoying the beautiful setting surrounding the lodge.We had some campfires - with s'mores! - in the pavilion, which was perfect when we had a rainy last night. There are several areas to explore the woods and we had fun crossing the wiggly bridge.The putt-putt golf course was equal parts fun and frustrating - as all good putt-putt courses should be. We had a tournament and there was plenty of clubs and balls for everyone to have their own.Several team members enjoyed the hot tub and it was clean, well-maintained, and enormous.We voted unanimously that we would all love to return to this house!

Camp Friends Annual Trip

The property is beautiful! It had many outdoor activities for all ages. Our group of 22 has ages ranging from mid 20ā€™s into the 70ā€™s. Between the hiking trails, fire pit, fishing pond, hot tub, horse shoe pit, and gathering space, it was perfect. The house is beautifully laid out in that we were able to eat our meals as a group and gather space was organized so we could all be together. We had some cooler rainy weather and weā€™re able to enjoy the game room as well. The location was close to the store as mentioned in the listing and we were able to get a lot of our perishables and food on the way in saving us unnecessary packing.

This is an amazing property to house a large group of people. They have just about everything you would need. My favorite was the Blackstone grill outside, made cooking so much easier!

Fun, spacious and unique family vacation spot!

We loved our long family weekend at this cabin! The cabin and property was beautiful. We had 16 adults and one infant. There weren't shampoo or soaps provided in the showers, so be sure to pack your own. Lots of towels, sheets, and every kitchen appliance you could need.

Amazing Home!

The home is very large with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The basement with pool table and games was great. The main floor was large enough for all of us to enjoy eating together and hanging out. The large wraparound screened in porch was beautiful. We enjoyed the large hot tub The house had everything we needed.

Nice getaway for large group

Great time with our family.

We had a great weekend in mid October with our family when we rented all three properties at Timber Ridge Acres. We were able to cook all meals we had planned with the well-equipped kitchen, which contained things we didn't even consider, like food warmers. The pond was beautiful, and we enjoyed socializing around the pond at the gazebo, with my sister's kids enjoying playing in the large house. We've already recommended the property to several of our friends, one of whom is considering renting it for their family reunion. We had some hiccups with finding the linens when we arrived, but the owners rapidly responded and the weekend went by without a hitch. 5/5 star stay for sure!

Beautiful Cabin!

We rented this property for our annual cousins' weekend, and it did not disappoint. This place has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the property is like a mini-Cacapon (if you've ever neen there). Thereā€™s a nice size hot-tub that was enjoyed, a small playground area for the kids, a covered picnic area, a lake, pool table, wi-fi (although it was a little dicey), games galore; there was so much to do. The owners thought of everything and they were very responsive to my messages. Other than food, if we needed it, they had it. We really appreciated the thought they put into this place--it shows from the moment you walk into the cabin. It is very warm and welcoming! If you're on the fence, go for it. This place did not disappoint. Oh, and the grocery store is about 5 minutes away. Very convenient. Will definitely rent again!!

The gathering of 4 generations

We enjoyed our stay!! We loved the layout of the cabin and property! Very easy to check in and internet access was good. We loved that you left a book of instructions along with the story about your family. What a beautiful family you have. We would definitely come back again and tell our friends about your property!! If I could recommend that the areas outside where the games are need to be kept up. Example would be the horse shoe area the horse shoes were buried, and the sand/dirt was lumpy with grass growing in it. We wanted to use the fireplace inside but couldnā€™t figure out how to open the damper if you leave instructions.

Awesome house!!

We all enjoyed playing and having fun at this house!! Plenty of room and activities for all!! The kitchen is very well stocked except for non breakable glassware. One other thing is the website says the bunk beds are twins but they are full/queen!! The owners are awesome!! Highly recommended!!

Best weekend ever!

This place was perfect for out annual cousins weekend! Enough bedrooms for all 20 of us (no kids) & plenty of space, even if you wanted to have some alone time! Lots to do and great to have the whole area to ourselves! We all had so much fun, catching up and reminiscing of the days while we were growing up together! Everyone commented on how perfect this property was for our get together! We all can't wait for next year and will probably keep coming back every year for as long as we can!

Great for a large gathering

We had a great stay at this house! It was the perfect size for our 30 person gathering. There was plenty of space and it was perfectly stocked. The property itself was really nice and a great space to get away.

Awesome Location

The main highlight of this stay was the location. It was absolutely breathtaking. The pond, the mini golf, the basketball court, the gazebo, the stream, and the rope bridge where all amenities and locations we took advantage of. The main draw back was the WiFi which was consistent in signal throughout the house, but very lacking in speed. The hosts gave us a detailed overview before our stay, but did not respond to any of our questions during the stay. Overall would recommend for anyone especially those staying over with a large group.

Perfect family reunion location

Our family had the best time at this cabin. Lots to keep everyone busy between the mini golf, fishing, hot tub, campfire and games. Plenty of room to spread out and to hang out together. We loved all the outdoor space and the porches where we could still be outside in the rain. The WiFi did not work but there was plenty to keep us busy. Looking forward to coming back!
