Well maintained cottage nestled in wooded lot by babbling brook. Very private property easily accessible to Seneca and Keuka wine trails and micro breweries. 2 minutes to the Windmill Farm and Craft Market - one of top ten in the US. Comfortably sleeps up to 8, with plenty of room to socialize. All new beds, furnishings, and hot tub - along with a fire pit, outdoor grill and picnic table. Especially well suited to groups. Limo service to wineries, in-cottage massages, bike and boat rentals available. The Outlet hiking/biking trail is 10 minutes away. Central location to all nearby small towns. 7 minutes to 24-hour supermarket, movie theater, shops, golf, restaurants, gas, horseback riding, and the best lake access park in the Finger Lakes. The cottage is meticulously maintained and pet friendly, and serves as either the perfect romantic honeymoon getaway or family lake vacation. We are the highest rated accommodation in this area every year.
In cottage massages, private wine tours, kayak and canoe rentals, motor boats, horseback riding, bike rentals, yoga are all available for the asking, and at various costs. Please contact us for any details.

Finger Lakes wine tasting trip

Awesome Experience

We always read the reviews before booking a property and liked how this one was consistently rated for being notably clean. We also liked the location and proximity to other things to do. We had a wonderful time, the property was as clean as everyone says, and the location was perfect. We especially loved the nice yard and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The owners were pleasant to deal with. Overall an awesome experience!

Pleasant weekend getaway

This was a rural property, but still convenient to many of the attractions in this area of the NY Finger Lakes region. Very comfortable for the two couples and dog that were on this stay. Room for at least two more, but third couple would not have not have close access to a bathroom. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall Good Stay, But Be Sure To Review The Bill

Overall, I had a terrific 3-night stay in the house. It was super-clean, peaceful, well-maintained, well-located and larger than I expected. Also, the host was quite communicative throughout the trip, in regards to answering any questions that I had. I was, however, disappointed in how the billing process was handled after the stay. Essentially, I was overcharged by $90 (which was the fee for a third adult, who I had already indicated was not coming). In fairness, there was a good deal of back and forth in terms of how many people would be staying at the home with me. However, I did confirm the final number of people a day before arrival with the host. Anyone can make an error, but when I raised this matter to the host’s attention, I felt that she initially tried to avoid considering if it was an error on their end (which in fact it was). After some back and forth, the host did ultimately refund the money. However, I felt that the mistake was addressed in an unapologetic manner with the host writing: "Ok. I see now. There was a mix up in the costs. We will refund you." I normally would assume that this was just a mistake. However, because multiple others have raised concerns related to how this host handles their billing, and because there was no apology for the mistake, it made a poor impression on me. If you are planning to stay at this property, I suggest just ensuring that you closely review the post-stay charges.

Finger Lakes Fun

We enjoyed our stay at Morning Dove very much. Pat and all provided a lot of very helpful information prior to check in and was very responsive to any requests for information. It's cozy, comfortable and convenient to Keuka and Seneca Lake wineries, breweries and Watkins Glen for hiking. A nice, quiet, and peaceful area with the hot tub and private outdoor area as a bonus.

Weekend get away

we had tickets to the 6 hours at the glen. We wanted a place close enough to the track but also close enough to all the other things to do in the area. this property was an excellent choice. very accommodating. we would do it again!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Great location, cute place, had everything we needed, plenty of room for 5 adult guests. Martha was quick to respond to all of my questions, Seamless check-in was appreciated given we were only there for a weekend. I will try to get back for a fall wine trip!

Fall Fun!

We are the ‘82 Girls, six high school BFF’s & this was our second stay at Diamond Inn the Bluff, first visit was in 2016. We Love everything about the home & location! Very private but not far from activities. We LOVE the Windmill craft & flea market. The house is cozy & clean & we enjoy the hot tub as an added bonus! Thank you Daren & Julie, looking forward to next time!

Girls Weekend

Extended holiday girls weekend spent exploring the Finger Lakes Region. House was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Extremely clean, enjoyed sleeping quarters being on opposite wings with kitchen being central. Hot tub was great addition to end our busy days exploring and hiking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would choose to stay here again.

Family Wine Vaca

My siblings and I stayed at this property over Memorial Weekend. It was lovely, larger than expected from the photos and the perfect location between the 2 lakes. It was great we got to bring our family pets too. The hot tub makes an even better added bonus. Highly recommend this property and property manager

Relaxing stay

My husband and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The property was as described, and the highlights were the fire pit and the hot tub. There was plenty of space for the two of us, and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying our morning coffee. Communication with the owners at arrival and check-out was efficient and very easy.

Very Accomodating

There was a hot water issue during our stay last weekend (which does not seem to be a common occurrence looking at previous reviews). When we brought up the problem, we were quickly offered to stay at another one of the owner's properties without question or any hassle. The owner was very quick to answer any and all texts we had which made the hot water issue have minimal impact on our honeymoon weekend. Both places we stayed at were very clean and well kept. Only recommendation I would have is to add more curtains to the windows. There were curtains in areas that were necessary (ie bedroom, bathroom) but I feel more comfortable at night when curtains are drawn even in the living room, etc.

Thanksgiving relaxation

Loved the hottub

The cottage was spacious and private. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was comfy. The hottub was a real treat. Discovering the Windmill Market nearby and our Amish neighbours was a nice surprise. Our only setback was the musty smell in the mudroom.
