"We were in an upstairs room and the view was stunning! The room was plush with a four poster bed that was very comfortable. The whole experience of staying in the grounds of the stately home was great - especially as free access comes with the room. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of cooked and continental. We also had Dinner in the castle - the food was good and it was fun having a private dinner party with people we did not know. Need to book in advance direct with the hotel though! "

"This was a wonderful stay with great views of the bay. The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Great kitchen for cooking dinner, with nice table with room for all of us. The living room had nice large TV screen, but also great views overlooking the bay and Dunedin. Spent two nights, but could have easily spent more."

"We had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic, far enough from the city, making it quiet and peaceful at night. But close enough for just a short drive to the supermarkets. We even saw yellow eyed penguins on a beach less than 15min away from here. Beautiful view on the ocean from inside too! The property was very tidy and absolutely spotless, with modern interior and nice decorations. The next time we go to Dunedin, we are hoping that we can stay here again :)"

"Was hard to leave this accommodation because it is well situated near bush with bellbirds singing across the small valley. The amenities are excellent and beautifully presented. The weather wasn’t the greatest for our four night stay but we felt super cosy! Thank you to host, Paul and his partner. Sorry we did not get to thank you in person at the time of our departure! "Overall we loved staying in this studio! The view was unbeatable and the location was perfect - close to downtown but outside of the noise and crowds. The place is definitely a little quirky but in a charming way! Would return!"
