"This hotel was booked by my elderly mother in error (we were in Tobermory, Scotland and booked in Tobermory, Canada). We were stranded on an island with limited electricity during a storm and needed a place to sleep that same night. Within 30 minutes we noticed the mistake and notified the hotel. After several hours of calls and emails we were told that a 7 day cancellation policy applies and that we would lose all of the money. These are the kind of people who run the hotel, take advantage of tourists and vulnerable people. Avoid wherever possible. "
