"The place was great, staff very kind and helpful. Only issue we had in our stay was that (I think by accident )they must have turned the heat on full blast prior to us arriving . Which made it wildly hot when we entered our room. After many hours of running the AC and windows open. So we slept poorly due to the heat. AC just wasn't able to catch up until early hours of the morning. "

"Rates seemed high for off-season. Microwave located in another building and shower water took several minutes to get warm. Very friendly staff and room was clean, but was not cleaned between days. "

"This hotel was booked by my elderly mother in error (we were in Tobermory, Scotland and booked in Tobermory, Canada). We were stranded on an island with limited electricity during a storm and needed a place to sleep that same night.
Within 30 minutes we noticed the mistake and notified the hotel. After several hours of calls and emails we were told that a 7 day cancellation policy applies and that we would lose all of the money.
These are the kind of people who run the hotel, take advantage of...

"overall it was good experience but too many restrictions. the best part was view from room and breakfast. you can hear people talking in nearby rooms. less privacy as people can still peek in your room from backdoors. "
