"A charming and cozy stay! Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast is absolutely amazing—beautifully decorated, warm, and welcoming. It’s even better than the pictures and conveniently located close to downtown Greenville, SC. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, making it a perfect getaway. My only small recommendation would be to tone down the sugar at breakfast. While the pancakes were delicious, the cinnamon topping was a bit too sweet for my taste—maybe offer it on the side? "

"Great property, but the main issue we had was that the bathroom door is not solid, it is opaque and so the light from the bathroom can be seen through the door. If anyone uses the restroom in the middle of the night, it is as if someone turns on all of the lights in the room it is so bright through the door. This is the reason we would not stay here again, even though everything was great. "

"Our room was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a city view. Very impressive! The hotel was very clean and beautiful and smelled so good. The view was great and so was customer service. We had never stayed here before, but we loved it and will definitely come back. Also loved the fact that check out is 12pm. Highly recommend this place. Especially for families."

"Great clean place. Good location. Our room a bit noisy with street noise from some loud cars. Also train blasted its whistle 2 of the 5 nights at 2AM or so. Pool and gym very nice. Right next to minor league ball field "

I needed one more blanket, it was bedtime, the front desk told me to go down and get. Did not go, and slept without it. The blackout curtain did not work- we only found out when it was sleep time - wanted to sleep more, but it was bright inside the bedroom. "The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was better than expected. Our only complaint was that the bed was very hard and a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise we would stay here again. "

"Did not realize that there would be valet parking available 24 hours. The room was nice, although the door was difficult to open as it stuck and I had to pull it shut to close/lock it. It met my needs for the time that I needed to stay. It was close to my events in Greenville. I did not get to enjoy the breakfast, so I cannot speak to much else. The staff was extremely nice."

"This location is a typical older style motel where the room connects to the outside sidewalk. If you’re trying to compare this location to a Marriott somewhere, then of course this location is going to fail. "Perfectly located downtown, just a short two block walk or bike ride to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Great parking and easy self-serve check in.
