"Such a delightful stay! So cosy with the fire on, well stocked with firewood, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our meals. No wifi which was so nice to unplug. Nice and private to have our own space out of sight of the rest of the property. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away :)"

"Our experience in this home was outstanding! The place was clean, minimal, and tidy.Instructions about location and entry was easy.The coffee machine was excellent and easy to use, the spa was hot and ready to go, the pool was clean and we could have gone for a swim but it was too cold.We were a group that had plenty of room to spread out - we enjoyed meals at the huge dining room table, and crafts at the other end. Loved the view from the upstairs lounge area. "

"From the moment Jan met us and made us welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate, romantic with fabulous views over the sea to the horizon. On our first day we could see the top of the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu and the Kaikouras.....heavenly. Jan and Doug had supplied essentials such as coffee and tea plus breakfast cereals and the pièce de rèsistance Doug's chutney. Thank you."

"We had a great weekend at the bach. Enjoyed the view,which was epic and the proximity to the town and Paraparamu. "

"Plenty of room for all the family. Loved the location right on the beach front with own access. We had vews of the sea and sunset. Everything was there except portacot and highchair would of been handy.Liked that it was all day sun and warm with the heating for some chilly nights. Would definitely go again. Nice touches to the place, outside shower was warm and canoes in the garage. Thanks for letting us stay."

"Modern and clean property. Suited all our needs, especially with the lift as we had a family member who could not climb stairs. Brilliant location close to beach, shops and cafes/restaurants.Our hosts Dan and Chloe are a lovely couple.Thank you Dan and Chloe for a wonderful stay at your property."

"The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!"

"We had an awesome stay. Our second time at Brendas' lovely home. Every aspect of the house is set up for a very comfortable stay across the road from the beautiful Otaki Beach. It has a relaxed beach vibe - we only wish we had more time. We want to make a special mention of our host Brenda who was just fantastic - great communication in making sure we were kept warm in a super cold week. Thank you Brenda!"
