"This was a lovely place. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The pool was small but great. The only downside for us was the property’s reliance on small, single-use plastic water bottles. We were given one each upon arrival, but there was no way to refill them with filtered water on the property. In today’s world, we should all be working together to do all we can to end single use plastics and conserve resources."

"The staff were super polite and helpful! The location is amazing! The pool and cafe are also nice. The AC worked well. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell in the bathroom (beyond the usual Bali cheap hotel smell) which kind of ruined this place for us."

Staff so accommodating and friendly, a hidden gem right in the heart of Canggu. We actually tried to stay a second time and were gutted it was fully booked so definitely book in advance! "

"Hôtel sympathique en soit mais son fonctionnement est à revoir : personnel pressant, par exemple, pour l’option petit déjeuner il est nécessaire de choisir ce que l’on veut la veille, ainsi que l’heure précise. Si vous n’êtes pas présents à l’heure donnée, l’accueil vous appelle à la minute près pour vous demander de descendre. Pas très agréable quand l’on est en vacances. Sinon bonne localisation et chambre agréable."

"They were very patient with my questions before the stay and took time to explain in details. The villa is cozy and the staff are very hospitable, helpf and attentive to our needs. The owner greeted us on our first morning and walked us to the van! Such a warm gesture :)"

"Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool und einem super lieben Team/Service. Nur die kleinen Hütten sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müssten hier und da etwas renoviert werden. Neue Bettwäsche sollte unbedingt besorgt werden. Alte Flecken die nicht raus gehen und gelbliche Kopfkissenbezüge machen nicht gerade nen super Eindruck auch wenn sie gewaschen waren. Ansonsten gibt es nix zu meckern, Frühstück war eine sehr schöne Auswahl und auch super lecker und das Ambiente stimmt....

"사진만 보고 근사한 호텔일 거라 기대하고 갔는데 사용하기엔 너무 불편한 곳이었어요. 이 가격이면 발리엔 훨씬 좋은 곳들이 많아요! 객실 조명이 너무 이상해서 음침한 느낌이 들고 무엇보다 화장실이 야외와 연결되어 있어서 위 객실과 소리가 그대로 공유되는 최악의 건축이었어요. 위에서 뭘 하는지 생생하게 들립니다..... 어매니티도 샴푸인지 바디워시인지 모를 통 하나 달랑 있었구요. 조식 장소도 형편없었고 스태프들 운영, 호스피탈리티 모두 수준 이하였어요. - the worst bathroom & shower, connected to upper room and you might know what people do exactly..... - poor operation, bad communication - weird lightings "

"I would definitely stay again at Grun as the hotel and amenities are great, but there are some lessons to be learned in customer service. I booked an in-room massage, the masseuse was 30 minutes late and no one notified me of the delay. This was very frustrating as I had plans later, and with it being my last day in Uluwatu I felt like I was wasting away time. It would have been ideal if the front desk notified me of the delay, considering as they were transporting the masueus around the...

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
