Lost power for 36 hours and leaky windows
Thought based on pictures of gold course and name of listing it was on the golf course so we were a bit disappointed. House was large and kitchen was great. Towels and sheets were sub par for a luxury home. When we lost power due to the storm and windows started leaking in master bath I reported it. No wood in the house for the 2 fireplaces to keep us warm. They sent maintenance but had no generator just a gas powered extension cords which we made work under the circumstances. Wish they would have accommodated us with some generosity since we were unable to enjoy the house for 40% of our stay. But no one reached out and we had to check out and leave in the dark as the housekeepers arrived with no power still at 10am. Don’t think I would rent from Luxevaca again based on how they handled this crisis.

Great/Spacious House/Stay
Had a family wedding in Monterey and this house was perfect on all accounts. Spacious, quiet areas for the two infants, close to Lodge and The Inn. Less than 10 minutes to Carmel/Monterey. Great maintenance response - dryer stopped working @5pm. At 7pm two person maintenance team showed up with a new dryer and started troubleshooting old one ! Left at 9p as they needed a different electrical part to install new one. Asked if they could come back at 8a and finish. No problem for us, they arrived @745a and left by 9a’ish - unbelievable response. Had some fun family games using the putting green, hot tub was relaxing.

Slanted pool table
House was accommodating. The pool table is at a slight angle so you can’t play a real pool game because the balls roll downhill. The putting green has certainly been well used. Overall glad to have had a place to stay call Ma and the hot tub was nice to have.

Great Location, Terrible Management
Property advertised for 14 would be more suitable for 2 families of 4 + 1 couple. Ask for a layout before you book as one of the rooms is a throughway to another. With 4 people using a bathroom, there are no hooks for extra towels. There are only 7 dinner plates. Half of us ate out of bowls. Luxevaca management company unresponsive and unprepared. Not enough bath towels for the number of guests booked, hot tub not filled. We received 5 pages of rules on booking with threats of fees for things we found on arrival: dirty grills, butts on property. Nevertheless, we had a fantastic time. The common space is comfortable and the location is perfect for biking and golf. This property deserves better management.

Great location, responsive management
The house was perfectly suited for my entire family - siblings, spouses, kids, and elderly mom! The house was in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to the highway or Pebble Beach. The house had everything we needed, including rollaway beds and fans for each room, no A/C needed for our late June stay. Any questions or minor issues we had were immediately resolved by the management company, and they responded within less than 30 minutes of my messages. My only suggestion would be to add screens for all windows so bugs didn’t come in (though hardly any did), since many windows or sliding doors had either none or were torn, amd to allow some sort of garage access because we tripped a breaker and then couldn’t get in to fix it. Other than that it was perfect!

The property is gorgeous. The hot tub was a big hit, after a day of hiking, golfing or biking.
We are a cooking family, so the kitchen is perfect for us. The house is big enough that everyone is comfortable. We will be back.

Exceed expectation! Wonderful stay
Short distance to access every vista points along 17 miles, large space for family. We enjoyed a lot staying at this house. Would like to come back again in summer time.

Great spot for family gathering
We enjoyed the house, location, quietness of the neighborhood. Easy access to Carmel, coastal scenic spots. Home was large, ample space for family. Large yard for outdoor enjoyment. Outdoor grounds need some updates - decking, furniture, lighting. Hot tub was over chlorinated and caused reactions, so we stopped using it. Still no ice maker, but trays were delivered. Management company personnel were very responsive.

Not well maintained
There were several major issues that should have been handled such as very dirty carpet, broken ice maker, window blinds broken and dining table is not stable- wobbly. This rental could be exceptional, if the property manger were to take care of problems as they come up. Too expensive for what we actually received upon arrival.

Hello Jackie, we appreciate our feedback very much, this property is large and super close to the Lodge, while I apologize about what you ecounter wrong, we pride ourselves to solve any issue inmediately, you denied help as you though was not the time to do so, but when houskeeping doesnt encounter issues, we can only work with what is reported. So unfortunately were not able to help. I know you wanted to have me persoanlly come by to show me what was wrong, but I have a mother that is high risk and cant be exposed, and actually i dont do repairs myself, I answered you at at all times, even at late hours , I apologize for whatever you found wrong. This is a very liked house, I'm sorry you though that wasnt enough. Would like to disclose that eveything Jackie found wrong, was fixed at her exit of the property, Ice Maker is a recurring issue in this brand of fridge, but is an excellent fridge and we are willing to bring Ice if needed

Nice property but No AC
Overall great location and nice property BUT there is no AC and we happened to stay a few days it was extremely warm making it very uncomfortable the entire trip. there were 2 portable AC units but for the size of the home there should be one of those for every room in the event of a need. Overall nice property and process with owner was smooth but the simple lack of cooling units impacted the experience greatly. if the property gets more AC units added i would strongly recommend this. If no AC i also think it should be noted in the property details.

In the future, please contact us to plan to have an A/C unit/units at the property for your stay! We have people on staff 24/7 to take care of anything you need during your stay! We use luxury A/C units and they are about 300-500$ a unit, keep in mind if it was hot at this property it will be hot all over the area so you can imagine that our A/C units were being spread thin between our guests. In the future definitely make a note ahead of time with one of our guest service agents to make sure that an appropriate # of units is waiting/brought to the property for your use!

Great House for Large Families
We spent 5 days at this house with an extended family group (7 adults, 5 kids) and it was really a great find for us - very roomy, very comfortable, very well-equipped. The kids enjoyed going down to nearby beaches along 17-Mile Drive, and we were just a few minutes drive from all the major destinations (Carmel, the Aquarium, Point Lobos, etc.) I certainly recommend this place for big family get-togethers. Its only drawback is that you do have to drive to get just about anywhere, but we felt it was definitely worth it for our needs.

Great place for family meet up
We enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and has plenty of space for everyone to gather or find alone space. Management reacted quickly to a few issues/questions we had. In fact, I sent an email after hours and had a response when I got up at 6:30 the next morning. We had a group of 12. It's not easy to find accommodations for that large of a group. This house worked for us. Be aware though that one of the bedrooms is accessed by either passing through the master bedroom or going in via an exterior door to that room. It does have its own bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us, just something you should know. We also utilized the provided cots for two children and an extra air mattress for a third. The place is very well kept up. Finishings are quality. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Has everything you need!
This house was really great. When you walk it is so clean and really nice. They set everything up from the kitchen, bathroom, and outside so it is warm, comfortable, really nice. They were always helpful with their 24/7 texting support. They got back right away and we asked a bunch of questions. They had extra hideaway beds. Pleasant if room for everyone. It was so beautiful outside. The deck has a beautiful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this space!

Everything was great save for the weather!
Seriously, we would have had an even greater time but Mother Nature decided otherwise and blew down a tree across the main power line so we didn't have any power as did approx. 21 homes in the area! A LOT of trees fell down (Monterey Pine shallow roots!) from a big storm that tore through Carmel a few days before. We made the most of it on Valentine's Day evening with a fire, pizza, wine and candles so definitely romantic! It was also my big 60th birthday weekend so we were hoping for power and a lil' golf but alas, none came through. The team at LuxeVacation including Zorka, Sean, and Kyle were very helpful and even to the point of finding us a new property to stay at when power had not come back on the next day ANNNNND it turned out to be the best stay we have ever had on VRBO! A special "Thank you!" shout out to them! The "Golfer's Dream Retreat" is a fantastic value not only for golfer's but for any group or family who would like to be in close proximity to to Pebble Beach and the Coast! The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable! The kitchen is huge and perfect for entertaining! BIIIIIIIG stove and oven to crank out delights! Three barbecues are available as well (Two gas/one 'coal!) The putting green works great and is fun for contests and happy hour! One great attribute as well is that Pebble is very close, closer as the crow flies, but a mere 20 minute walk will get you there easy w/o driving! UBER or LYFT always around if you need it! 'Definitely go to "The Bench" at the Lodge for great grub and be sure to have the "S'MORE BROWNIE for dessert! DEADLY! Cheers!, and hit 'em straight!

Great property!!!
My family and I absolutely loved this property. It has great space, modern ammenities and is conveniently placed between Carmel and Monterey, right in the Pebble Beach community. Unlike some others, this property was exactly as marketing and even nicer. I will be looking to stay in this property again in two years, when we are back to Carmel for Christmas again. This is an absolute gem of a house!

Lovely home for family gathering
A 75th Birthday Bash was our occasion at Pebble Beach. High School Classmates gathered to share a memorable time in this area. Two couples and singleton shared Golfers Retreat and it worked nicely for them. The bedroom/bathroom arrangement was awkward for any more guests as the 2 bedrooms on lower level shared a common entry through the master bedroom. This house is better for a family that wouldn't mind closer quarters. The home is beautiful and the grounds offer recreational opportunities of putting green and hot tub. Housekeeping was quick to clean up during our stay when they began service a day before we left. As the guests were aware someone had entered home before their departure , they had some uncomfortable moments of feeling compromised. It would be helpful to have an accessible contact in area to quickly resolve any concerns and to answer questions. All in all guests were pleased to have this beautiful home for their relaxation and access to this most beautiful area. We thank you for sharing! June

Lovely property
We rented this home for our recent family reunion. The grounds are beautiful, the house well-appointed, the kitchen well-equipped, and everything was in working order. The house is plenty spacious while feeling cozy and comfortable. Our group really enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor seating. The property manager, Zorka, was very attentive and helpful. The only (minor) issue we had to work around is that indoor access to the downstairs queen bedroom is through the master suite (the queen bedrooms does have and exterior door). I highly recommend this property.

Excellent location for exploring Pebble Beach.
Really nice place. Well facilitated with all needed amenities. Excellent responsiveness from Zorka. Great kitchen, great view, good maintenance. Only real issue was some bugs in the downstairs suite. Not a big issue but couldn’t justify 5 stars. Other issues in previous reviews (grill, etc) had been addressed before we arrived. We enjoyed it very much.

Great Family Reunion House
This house was large enough to accommodate 12 family members staying there comfortably. And 18 of us were able to cook dinner and all sit down together on one long cobbled-together table for Thanksgiving. Huge kitchen, plenty of parking, good beds, big living room. Hot tub building was not up to standards (dirty, holes in floor, etc) and there was deferred maintenance (handle falling off exterior door). We couldn't find a pen or paper or scissors but we brought those items as needed from a local family member. Don't let these glitches deter you because this house was perfect in size and layout for lots of people. We will definitely return to this house for future family reunions.

House was nice but there was no workable grills outside as promised by property owner and manager.
Caution to anyone trying to cook outside using unsafe gas grill. Leaking gas. Property owner and manager never addressed safety issues. Never provided safe grill. They claimed property had grills to use. Could not cook outside. Property owner must address deficiency.

Great House met all expectations
All six of us had a great time at Pebble relaxing at the house while competing at Sectional Tennis Championships. The house was very clean and everything was working. Zorka made everything so easy. Thanks for everything !!!

Great House, Outstanding Manager
First and foremost, I want to commend Zorka and her team for their professionalism in managing this property. Everything was set up to expectation and the house was in pristine condition - like a resort. Any questions that arose during booking or the stay, she was very responsive and courteous. We did not avail ourselves of the additional fee concierge type services offered but I'm sure they would have handled these expertly had we chose to do so. Really excellent managers. Now to the house - We came here with two families and found the set up to be ideal - there are three bedrooms on the upper level and two on the lower level - each well equipped with multiple well laid out bathrooms, some en suite. Overall this set up layout afforded optimal combination of privacy and conviviality - once we had each repaired to our individual "suites" it was as if we had the house to ourselves. When it was time to reconvene at meal times and such we made full use of the common areas : fully equipped kitchen, bar area, breakfast nook, dining room, and outdoor dining, as well as hot tub and observation deck with partial view of the ocean. Everything was professionally decorated and furnished and therefore aesthetically pleasing as well as fully usable (there were some owner's areas that were effectively off limits, like certain closets and the office, but this was not significant to our stay). The pictures were accurate. You should book this properties as well as any others managed by the Luxevaca company with confidence. I wish them all the success that they deserve.

Great House for family and kids!
We had 5 adults, 2 kids (5 and 6 years old) and a baby (9 months old) and the house was perfect - from the welcome gift to the large bedrooms and the great putting green (kids and adults loved), we could not have asked for a better house - didnt hurt that we could walk to the Lodge at Pebble and the par 3 course. Also saw two deer in the front yard! Highly Recommend

Fantastic From Start To Finish!
We have used VRBO many times and love it. "The Golfers Dream Retreat" was a truly awesome experience. It started with Luxe Vaca and Zorka providing us the best pre-stay experience we have ever had. They were on top of everything, were very professional, exceedingly nice, and got everything done perfectly. We knew exactly what we needed to do and how to do it days in advance of our stay, so there was no stress. Many other places we have stayed at recently just got us check in information right when we pulled top to the house, but this one was perfect. The house was beautiful and seemed even larger than it looked in the pictures, with everything very high quality. The kitchen was beautiful and huge and the master suite was an entire floor all by itself! The jacuzzi in the private gazebo and the ocean view deck were amazing. My family loved it and we will be back! My girls loved the baby deer they saw in the back yard!

Fantastic property, great location
Spotless, elegant, and equally perfect for a family reunion or corporate retreat. Exceptional response from the property manager, though only needed for initial booking and follow up accolades. Great kitchen and open floor plan for large group formal dining, with plenty of space for segregated time alone if desired. So close to so many options for golf, shopping, beach runs, and other local gems (like bagpipes at sundown on Spanish Bay) Family and freinds all loved the accomodations, and we highly recommend

Fantastic home.
This is a beautiful home. We had a terrific four days. We were 10 old high school friends who get together once a year. The putting green was so much fun. We had several scratch games & those who didn't play had fun watching. The second master downstairs with an adjoining room was perfect for four of us. The welcome snacks were greatly appreciated & enjoyed by all. Thank you for a great get away.

The house is beautiful, the location is perfect. Everything is well maintained. We had the best time
We had the most perfect stay at Zorka's house. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Zorka was most helpful every time I needed her help. She is really a kind and attentive person, the host of your dreams. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The interior, the furniture, the kitchen, the bedrooms and the bathrooms were all beautiful. The whole house was squeaky clean. Nothing was amiss. All the beds were comfortable, even the pillows. The living room had plenty of places to sit for all of us. The dining room table was beautiful, and the dining room was complete with a wood burning fire place. The master bedroom was a dream that came through, with a beautiful bathroom, a super comfortable bed, and a big screen TV. It was roomy and bright, conveniently having a door, opening to the front yard. The putting green in the front yard was great for perfecting our golfing skills. The hot tub had a nice setting for a back massage, it was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the spices and utensils that we needed. The stove provided us with more cooking spaces than we needed. We were there with our in-laws. The house is perfect for family vacations or just for having a fun time with friends. The 17 miles drive is beautiful, the beaches are amazing. It is only a few minutes away form Pacific Grove, Monterey and from Carmel. There are nice bike trails all around. It is the perfect vacation spot for ocean lovers, golfers, families with children, or just for anybody who wants to have a relaxing time, alone, or with family. The library in Carmel was open on Saturday, it was unique and quaint. Carmel is an amazing town, I loved the architecture in the city. I can't wait to go back to this house again. I have to thank our most helpful and kind host, Zorka, for everything. She was always there when we needed her. Thank you for helping us to have a beautiful time at your house! We truly enjoyed our stay. I am hoping to do vacation with you again!
