Host was great and very responsive to questions. The property is beautiful and eclectic. The separate castle was really fun and great accommodations. The ocean view was incredible! Beds were comfortable and the house is set up so bedrooms are in opposite sides of the house for privacy. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathrooms. Views from almost every room. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Christmas with all of our family.

We were a group of ten, and this home fit us perfectly — spacious, comfortable, and full of character. The interior has a European, eclectic flair that felt both eccentric and charming, and we all loved it. The setting was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time together.The highlight had to be the view — a spectacular 180-degree panorama of Monterey Bay. It might truly be the best view you can find in Carmel! We all spent a lot of time out on the deck, just soaking it in.The kitchen was large and very well equipped, with everything we needed to cook meals for our group. Parking for five cars was easy, which made logistics simple.This was a very special trip for all of us, and the house was a huge part of what made it so memorable. We’d love to stay here again!

The location of “The Castle” (as our grandkids called it) was superb, with sweeping ocean views from every room and multiple decks to enjoy the passing whales, resident deer, and magnificent local birds (hawks, owls, woodpeckers, etc) – binoculars are a must. The estate was unique, spacious, clean, well-stocked, quiet, and comfortable with loads of character and thoughtful vintage décor. We spent a week there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and had plenty of room to spare with our 3 adult children and their spouses, 6 grandchildren under the age of 6 who ran around the property like banshees, and our 15-year-old Chihuahua. The hot tub was a major hit (bring your beach towels)! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our noisy, communal meals. We made memorable day trips to Big Sur (our wedding site), The Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Great Tide Pool, Lovers Point Park & Beach, and don’t miss Dennis the Menace Park if you have kids. We all want to stay at The Castle again! Kudos to the property management team.

The Property vibe and views are even more amazing than the pictures. Absolutely breathtaking, the temperature was so perfect with a cool breeze blowing through the massive windows with so much natural light. Unforgettable.

80th Birthday Celebration

Beautiful location along 17 Mile Drive with spectacular vistas. Surprisingly sunny weather with only modest June gloom. Worked well for our large family gathering including our grandchildren. The Castle was a favorite of our 6 year old granddaughter.

Very Spacious Property with. Beautiful View

I stayed over the weekend along with some family and friends to celebrate my birthday and engagement. There was so much space that I feel like we only utilized 1/4 of the property (a good problem to have). The view was amazing from the balcony. The front yard was well kept, really clean and looked beautiful. My party and myself had a blast. The area around the neighborhood has many nice restaurants and the beach was in walking distance! Would definitely visit again!

Avoid at all costs—needs to be checked for mold

Pics look great, different story once you get there. It was so dusty and moldy in the house 2 people immediately erupted in coughing fits. It’s also extremely dated. It feels like a haunted house. The layout is bizarre, it took us 15 minutes to locate the bedrooms which were all awful relative to the price. There is also a random rock and dirt patch in the middle of the downstairs floor. Pics are completely unrepresentative of property. The company reached out to me, I told them I wanted to leave and they said they’d check w the owner and went dark. We checked into the inn at Spanish by the night we arrived. Stay away.

Too many Issues with this Home

Very disappointing. The home’s utilities and amenities were very problematic.  There were multiple problems, loss of amenities and utilities causing multiple distractions by multiple service people every day of our stay, including mantainence men, plumbers, electricians and movers.. Old furniture left outside on the entrance (very classy). Hot tub would not get hot. Lost hot water through entire home for several hours. Lost all Power and Water pressure for several hours during dark hours of the day - needed to use candles and flashlights to manage. Security alarm went off for no reason. No way to turn off the piercing siren. I reached out to the property management team at Luxevacations several times before deciding to write this review and I am very disappointed that they never responded. For what I paid to stay at this property, I am extremely frustrated and I cannot give this property a good review.

Weekend to remember

Overall this property is fantastic. Great area & super convenient for a large party. It was my wedding weekend, the wedding party got ready there. So much room for all of our guests. Very pretty views! Any issue that came up, the team was very quick to respond & resolve it. We would definitely come back here!

Luxe1 Pebble Beach

Plus.. easily Logan, our contact with Luxe1. Good guy, but only with them as summer job Yes, place was as spectacular as site suggested. Minus… Zorka. Why a minus …did not reply to initial multiple emails and messages, sent both directly to her and also via vrbo site, with questions on property. Latter claimed issues with their email as reason. Later sent another email to Zorka and Dominic, using their direct email addresses, short question, no answer. Shortly before coming, I saw no guests were scheduled for day before arrival. Email to Zorka…on early arrival. At last replying… stated ok to arrive 2 hours early. Get to place and door code fails. Only at this time am I told my main contact is Logan, not Dominic. Problem…. Zorka apparently never told Logan of my early arrival. Not a good start… Finally resolved with phone calls. Bottom line… tho not a big deal, overall communication with and by Zorka was not what to expect from a place with this price tag. Other than the poor communication, place was great.

Short but Sweet

We rented Lux 1 In pebble Beach at the end of April 2024. We were attending a family wedding, we were only there for two nights which didn’t seem long enough! The home is lovely, huge, clean and very well managed. Zorka is a wonderful contact and very accommodating and gracious. We wished we had booked at least another night so we could truly enjoy the estate. It’s gated, safe and the views are spectacular. We will be back!!

Amazing Views

We stayed at the property 3 nights prior to checking into Pebble Beach. Comfortably held 12 0f us. Highly recommend, very reasonable pricing.and would do it again.

Business Customer Event

The Estate was very impressive and a big hit with our customers. The management company was very accommodating to our needs. They helped us get a private chef. They stocked the kitchen with groceries. They had the house cleaned daily. During our stay, there was a big storm. The roads were blocked with downed trees and electrical wires. We were told by emergency personnel that we could not leave until the area had been cleaned up. It turned out that this did not happen until the next day. The management company let us stay another night and made sure we were safe. I can't say enough good things about our experience here.

We enjoyed staying in the house, however, there were not bright enough lights in the kitchen at the table. Hard to see at night. Lots of stairs throughout the house making it difficult for older people! The grounds were exquisite and we had daily visits from the neighborhood deer! A hairdryer in each bathroom would have been helpful.
