Private neighborhood home in Payson - gorgeous getaway with in town convenience!

  • Come relax in our home in the town of Payson! On a quiet street, we are surrounded by boulders and tall pines, however our home is just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Use our home as a springboard to all the wonderful activities in Rim Country then come home to a private backyard, fully fenced for your furry friends!

    There are so many events and activities in Rim County! See the Tonto Natural Bridge, or head up to Christopher Creek for an afternoon of fun and play. Hiking, fishing, mountain biking, antique shopping and of course rodeo!

    Our home is a great place to get away to cooler places in summer, serene places in winter, and to see the changing seasons of spring and fall. The cottage is cozy and comfortable with bedrooms separated by the living room and kitchen. It is a great location for a base camp with easy access to surrounding towns of Pine, Strawberry, Whispering Pines, Star Valley.

Very nice and clean house located in quiet neighborhood, yet you feel as though you are in a forest area. We sat outside in the front porch area and watched a elk eat in the amazing rock formation next door. Great communication with owner throughout the renting process. The property is very pet friendly, my grand pup loved it.

Easy check in instructions, super clean & welcoming home with guest book, snacks, coffee and setup was perfect. Stocked kitchen for cooking, although we ordered delivery from el Rancho which was delicious! Ideal location, secluded & peaceful retreat while also nearby amenities. Convenience to restaurants and shopping. Our pup loved all the wildlife around on his walks in the beautiful neighborhood. Trails nearby for exhilarating & gorgeous hikes.

We had such a relaxing and memorable weekend staying at this Payson VRBO. It was just the two of us looking to unwind with no real plans, and this home ended up being exactly what we needed.The location was incredibly convenient, about four minutes from anything you might need, yet it still felt tucked away in nature. We loved being surrounded by trees and even spotting some wildlife, all while being right in the heart of town.The amenities were above average and thoughtfully put together. We were especially impressed by the little details, like the fully stocked kitchen that even included a toolkit. It really felt like the host anticipated guests’ needs.Our favorite part of the property was the abundance of seating. Everywhere you’d want to sit and take in the scenery, whether indoors or outside, there was a comfortable spot waiting for you. It made it so easy to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.One small hiccup we ran into was when we tried to use the DVD player at the end of the night. The component cords weren’t connected to the TV, and since it was late, we didn’t want to reach out. Future guests might want to check in with the host earlier in the day if they plan to use it, just to get a quick walk through.Overall, this was a wonderful stay for a restful getaway. Two women, three days, two nights... we left feeling completely recharged. We’d absolutely come back again.

This is one of the nicest homes I have ever rented especially while bringing my dogs. It was completely dog safe from the backyard, and to the front door with the gated patio. Super private, comfy bed, everything you could ask for while staying in a house. Gabriel was super accommodating to my special requests. This was the 2nd time I have stayed here and one of my favorites! I will definitely return the next time I come to Payson.

Gabe's uniquely located place among the boulders was beyond comfortable and just what I needed for my personal retreat. The space is clean and tidy, has everything you'll need, and is in a prime location for getting to town or hiking trails. They've set up things to ensure you are well-equipped with the knowledge of the locals, and Gabe was quick with his communication and so incredibly kind and understanding (including when I forgot to take out the trash--OOPS!). It's clear from their guest book that they have people (and pups) coming back multiple times, and I'll be no exception. It's clear to see why. Highly recommend staying here!

Great place and very cozy. Backyard is pretty well fenced off for pets. Conviently located to grab coffee or breakfast in the morning but still feel like your not in the city. Would definetely stay again.

We loved staying in the beautiful little home. The backyard boulders are awesome. The priperty is conveniently located, walking distance to some restaurants and trail heads. A short drive to some fabulous hikes and climbing areas. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again.

This home is a true gem. Beauty is everywhere, so is comfort, and a real feeling of home. The surrounding nature is awe-inspiring. Easy to take a walk around the friendly neighborhood, getting some exercise without having to go to a gym. Would love to come back.
