"The property was spotlessly clean albeit a bit dated. The twice weekly change over of towels etc was a nice touch. The kitchenware could do with a restock and update and a washing machine would be a bonus. The pool was kept sparkling. The location is great if you want seclusion and privacy but it’s quite isolated - a car or scooter is a must."

"We had a wonderful week at this modern, beautiful villa which is within walking distance of Gaios town. The terraces and pool area are particularly wonderful. You don’t really need a car because the supermarkets will do delivery if you spend over a certain amount. If you want to tour the island you might prefer to hire a motor boat as we did with the help of Andreas who gave us excellent recommendations. We also appreciated the regular cleaning service. "Fantastic location for a family villa, benefitting from a fantastic ocean view and with a private beach bar 5 mins walk one way plus a beach bar 10 mins the other. House is perfect for two families or larger families, with the the two levels of the house capable of working independently and therefore providing space and privacy when needed. Highly recommended"

"A very well maintained property with very pretty gardens and the most amazing views from upstairs. It is on a sharp bend so there is some traffic but not enough to be of concern but it’s not totally quiet. The owners are lovely altho don’t speak English but we managed with Google translate and they were very helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used the bbq and pizza oven while we were there. There is a regular emptying of bins n change of bedding n towels too. Lovely pool area....

"This amazingly located property was our home for two glorious weeks. We really enjoyed the adventure of the rustic path down to the beaches and into town and the view of the port was magic. This is a very spacious and well appointed home for your stay. We cooked meals and did laundry and we felt very at home. "Lovely spacious accommodation (we were just 2 people). Bedroom is on the lower floor making it cooler, together with the (two!) bathrooms. Good water pressure in the showers, quiet air con, efficient wifi. Location is lovely. There's a little rugged footpath next to the property which takes you down to the beach by the Harami bar (excellent food), from where you can walk along the waterfront to town - a pretty walk but does require flat shoes and a bit of scrambling. "Good things: basic room with lots of space, 5 minute walk to Lakka village, which is beautiful with lots of restaurants, balcony, air conditioning Bad things: the hotel is located in a very very steep hill, not suitable for people with difficulties walking or carrying bags. even the access by car is not easy, the rental car almost couldn´t get up that steep hill. You can not access the hotel with bags without a taxi or car, and they charge you 15€ for taking you to the boat/Gaios."

"Wer einen ruhigen, idyllischen und besonderen Ort sucht, ist in der Villa Elaia richtig. Der Ausblick ist Wahnsinn! Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und sauber. Toll war auch das Bücherregal, an dem man sich bedienen konnte. Der Weg nach Gaios ist möglich, jedoch beschwerlich (steil, Nachts ohne Beleuchtung, holprig). 1-2 Mal machbar. Auf Dauer ist jedoch ein Transportmittel sehr zu empfehlen! Die Vermieterin Evi steht jederzeit bereit für Tipps, bei Anliegen und auch für den einen oder anderen...
