There had been some painting done and there were remnants of paint scraping in various locations (by the way the paint job was terrible- host ought to make them go back and re-do it!) "A wonderful spot on the lake. Peace and quiet. I gave the check in 5 stars because we checked in mid week and we were the only ones checking in. One a weekend, we have seen long lines out of the door. The 4 stars for cleanliness is because the porch furniture was not clean. Not a deal breaker though. Everything else was spotless..We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. "

"Check in required standing in line for too long (almost 45 minutes). More help was needed at the desk of Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort. There was also a problem at the desk with check out. While leaving the building, I noticed that my check out had been completed under a different customer's name. I had to go back to the desk to have it corrected. So, the check in and check out could have been much better. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful experience. It was our first time staying in Litchfield by the Sea even though we have visited Pawleys several times! The condo was small but perfect for my husband and me. The location is great, very close to the shops and the restaurants that we enjoy. We also really enjoyed our walks around the property and the beautiful beach is certainly a plus. We will be back!"
