Welcome to the Prairie Rose, our second home and place we love. Each space in this single story home has original items we salvaged from this 100+ year old house. We hope you enjoy your stay and can feel the character and history of this special place.
There are virtually no other homes in Pawhuska that give you the ability to avoid the difficult parking, easily take a break during the day and still offer you the true authentic home experience. If you are coming to Pawhuska this is where you want to be!

Very pleased with the house. Only problems that were observed (wash out of driveway at street and stairs to front door with no rails) were being corrected by a handyman as we were at the home. The check -in was complicated by an incorrect code. After calling the owner, it was corrected and no more problems occurred. Overall, a very nice stay was had by all in this house.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It's clear the owners put a lot of love and care into creating a space where guests can relax and make memories. Added bonus...it's only a short walk to the heart of downtown!

We celebrated Motherā€™s Day with a visit to Pawhuska. This home was absolutely charming and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the large TV and seating in the living room for late night movies. We loved being so close to the downtown area for shopping, dinning, and entertainment. The host was so nice and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved it!

My ā€œover seventy year oldā€ high school girl friends & I really enjoyed our stay at your house in Pawhuska. It was cleverly decorated & very comfortable & fashionable. Just a couple of suggestions for safety from us - 1) A handrail by the front steps would be a real help to your ā€œmatureā€ guests & grab bars in the showers would be most helpful. Additionally, the showers floor tiling & grout need more attention from the cleaning crew. The beds & bedding were excellent & the layout of the kitchen Is very good & we enjoyed the patio. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We all loved the look of the property when we first saw the pictures and in person did not disappoint! We came to Pawhuska to experience everything-Pionneer Woman and we loved it all! The moment you open the door, the home is beautiful and open and rooms for each of us! Love it!!!

We had a wonderful stay enjoying Mother/Daughter/Grandaughter time in Pawhuska. The home was exactly as described. Beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the short walk to all the fun Pawhuska shops and restaurants.

This house was a fantastic find. It was clean, welcoming, and had plenty of room for our crew to rest and enjoy each other. Its a quick walk to downtown for shopping and eating and offers a peaceful place to relax.

Our house was so clean and quaint in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes from the Mercantile! The entire weekend was like being in Mayberry! I canā€™t say enough good things about this home! It was just the cherry on top of a lovely holiday!!

This was our annual girls trip, the house and location were amazing. The 100+ year old house was super clean and accommodating for our group, very relaxing and cozy, I would 100% recommend this house for a trip.

This restored house was the perfect setting for our cousin retreat of four in a super quiet neighborhood. There was a bedroom for each with shared bathrooms and living area. The game table on the closed in porch made for a great area to spend the evenings with a little friendly competition. Very clean! We would definitely stay here again!

Property is as advertised within easy walking distance of downtown. House was very clean and beds quite comfortable. Decorations give house a homey touch. Toiletries in the bathroom would be a nice addition. Overall, great place to stay!

Loved our stay in this amazing house! Everything was bright, open, big and super clean. Decor was perfect and made you feel at home. The short walk to the main square in Pawhuska was wonderful if you didn't want to drive. Highly recommend this stay!
