The Perfect Lake Getaway!

  • Completely redone in 2020 this lake house is the perfect getaway for your family or a couples weekend. This home is located on beautiful Eagle Lake, a 200 acre, all sports lake in Paw Paw, Mi. Whether it’s you and the wife on a weekend wine tour, a snowmobile skiing and ice fishing trip, or a family trip during the summer this cottage is exactly what you are looking for. The view is absolutely beautiful from the open living room/deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the scenery of the beautiful wildlife including eagles, geese, swan, cranes, and more.

    This home has a master suite with a king bed and private bathroom, a second master suite on the lower level with king bed and a bunk beds and a bathroom with stand up shower. There are two more bedrooms on the main level. Bedroom 1 has a bunk bed with a full bottom and twin top and the second bedroom has a queen bed and another set of bunkbeds.

    The home has a gas grill, a fire pit on the beach, and a private dock. Located 10 minutes from local wineries, 20 minutes to the casino, 35 minutes to ski resorts and within minutes of the snowmobile trails. The pontoon can be rented for $350/day or $1400 for the week.

Wow! What a perfect place for a great getaway. Exactly as shown - bonus the lake front is even more beautiful and relaxing. Hosts were great. Easy to communicate with and the place had lots of extras - all the kitchen items you need, plenty of outdoor seating and firewood provided. We were two families staying and had enough space to have time apart and together. Would highly recommend. Will be back next year.

We had a great stay here! Very clean and recently updated. Loved the yard.. so much space for the kids to run around, great sand beach, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat. We rented the pontoon boat for our entire stay, it was very nice and clean.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lake house! Everything was exactly what we hoped for. We especially loved the beautiful yard and the lake. Rental pontoon, kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boat were huge hits. The home is lovely, updated, clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. The large, semi-private yard was perfect, providing plenty of space to relax, play, grill out, and spend quality time together. We only have a few small suggestions that would make an already great property even better: better curtain coverage in the main living room for added privacy, a few more paper products stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen, and some additional seating in the living room to accommodate larger groups. Property hosts were great to work with! Overall, this is an A property, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Great outdoor space!

The outdoor space is perfect for younger kids with plenty of beach front and shallow water. Kids had a great time with the paddle boards and kayaks.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a lovely time at this property. The master suite was perfect and we loved enjoying the great views from multiple outdoor areas. Very responsive host. Hoping to book again soon!

Lovely Time

Great stay at an even greater place!

The host was timely in responses to small questions. The stay was perfect as home was prepped, very clean, and welcoming. I would stay here again as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful Lake Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO. The host was extremely responsive and communicated well with us. We enjoyed the lake and the bonfire with family. Beautiful lake home! Lots of room for everyone to stay. Had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Amazing Lake Get Away over the 4th

Our little families had an absolute blast at the “perfect lake get away”. Near the freeway for easy access, but surrounded by trees and friendly neighbors for the “up north feel”! The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed to have a great time! I would highly recommend this place :)

Overall, we had a great stay. The property had so many activities. We loved being able to spend time with the kids at the home versus feeling the need to travel away. So much to do! I will say that the stairs were pretty tricky to get up/ down, so be cautious if you have older/ very young people coming here. Also, the blinds were not very effective and every room had light streaming in with beds right under the windows. I suggest the host upgrade to some shades with the ability to block light or guests bringing travel shades if you like to sleep in the dark. I think the host does a phenomenal job communicating. Anyone staying here will get a very nice place with plenty to do and some comfy beds!

The house was very nice. All appliances were updated and in perfect working order. The lake was very nice and not too crowded. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to have our late night camp fires without any distractions. Overall we had a great time with family and friends.

Best trip ever

We had the best time staying here! They put alot of detail into every room and area. From the water toys availible, beach seats, porch, fire pit and more. Every bed was comfortable too!. We cannot wait to come back to this house!!!!! Thank you so much for having us!

Awesome lake retreat!

We loved spending a long weekend in Paw Paw. This was a great space for families who are looking for individual space. We loved all the different entrances to the rooms/spaces. We rented the boat and had a wonderful time on the lake. Late night bonfires were awesome! We would stay again and highly recommend this property!

Wonderful time on Eagle Lake!

We had the best time! This house was great and close to everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the use of the boat and made some great memories with the family! There was plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other! Thanks for letting us stay there! The Luken Family

We had a fantastic stay at this recently renovated cottage on Eagle Lake. The new appliances and well-equipped kitchen made it easy for family dinners. The beds were comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 6 and day visitors. The calm, quiet lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding and fishing. Our host, John, was responsive and went above and beyond to help with a minor issue. Overall, a great place in a great location!
