It practically has everything you need and also offers plenty of beach items and snorkeling gears. We also loved the thoughtful welcome gifts of Hawaiian treats. "We loved staying in the penthouse. It was very tasteful and comfortable, and the view from the bedroom and lanai couldn’t be better. The people in the building were nice and a nice long pool was good for laps. Carl Smith beach right next-door was excellent for gentle swimming And snorkeling, and we saw a lot of turtles. I would definitely come back and stay in the penthouse. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, and the place was clean and tasteful. "

"What a beautiful location and farm. So peaceful and a fantastic place to decompress. Matter of fact we spent a very enjoyable day on the lanai. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! We highly recommend this place and would stay again 3 easy check in/out, nice hosts. Farm is about 30 minutes from Hilo."

"We had such a nice time staying in our Hawaiian Celebration! We booked the Bantam Suite (which looks upon the incredible heritage banyan tree on the property), but when we arrived we were offered the Carriage House due to a cancellation – we took it, and it gave us a kitchen, a LOT of space, and ocean views (and lovely sunrises) right from the bed. The property is so clean, well-cared for, and with breathtaking views – we wandered, relaxing in the many lovely outdoor areas, and enjoying the...

"Very kind land lord who is willing to take that extra step to make sure you are satisfied. There were a couple of issues, but she made sure they were rectified. One thing I would like to suggest is replacing the bath linens, as they felt and looked old and scratchy. Thanks"

"We LOVED our 2 night stay here. It was so relaxing and exactly what was described. It was a bit of nature, fruit trees and peace. We had excellent communication with the hosts. The outdoor shower was pretty cool. We really can’t say enough good about it. Will 100% stay here again when returning to Hilo side of the island."

"Building as a whole is a little dated (lobby, hallways, ponds, and parking stall) but looks like a refresh is in progress.The apartment was immaculate and comfortable. The perfect furniture and color palette I would have chosen for my home. I recommend bringing toilet paper, shampoo, and bath soap with you the first night (small quantities of these initial items were provided but didn’t last past first shower). "We only needed beds for one night and this worked out well for us. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location was perfect. We arrived after most business on the street were closed, so parking was easy to find. We left before sunrise to get an early start on our sightseeing and drive back to Kona."
