"The rental process was easy. Access was easy. The house was clean and copious amenities were available. The location was central to many of our experiences. We felt like we were able to really learn the roads and felt accomplished when we were able to find our way without using Maps. "The home feels excluded from everything but the host made it feel like you were welcome to the community. If you wish to hear the waves crash on the rocks and enjoy a perfect sunrise (weather permitting) then Saul's place is the spot to be at on your getaway from the norm. Thank you Saul for allowing me and my wife to enjoy your stunning home and location. Hope to be back again someday."

"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

"This is a great place to stay! Walking distance to the beach! Beautiful View from the bedroom and lanai! Comfortable bed! Everything that you could need for cooking, snorkeling, and just enjoying your stay without having to drive anywhere if you don't want to! I would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our stay. It was clean and. Great location. Details for check in were great. It would have been nice to have at least salt and pepper already there. Further, the keypad to enter the property took several tries to make it work. Not fun. Low battery? This needs to be addressed ASAP. Otherwise. Loved it. Thanks!"

"Keaau is south of Hilo and very convenient to Volcano National Park. Home has lots of amenities to provide a comfortable stay. There is a large TV but operating instructions were very complex and we did not attempt to view. Overall I would recommend this rental."

"Hotel bem localizado e estrutura geral boa, porém encontra-se degradado, sem reformas, dando aspecto de abandono. Serviço de camareira péssimo, não colocou toalhas de banho por 2x, tendo que reclamar por elas, entrou no quarto e não retirou o lixo, não arrumou as camas alegando que tinha objeto pessoal em cima dela. Cafeteira do quarto quebrada. Uma das recepcionistas excelente, as demais são razoáveis."
