"Our family of five had a perfect stay. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding, endless swimming, fishing every day, camp fires, hiking, a picnic and so much more. We couldn’t ask for anything better. The property was spotless and the owners were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return. "

"Awesome place, tons of space! Check-in/out was super easy, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend it, especially if you're into sledding – the trail's right across the street! Bear mountain BBQ is right next door which was super convenient and the food was phenomenal!"

"Incredible! Had a wonderful stay visiting family in the area. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. Very spacious, amazingly clean and non-cluttered. Our visit coincided with a heat wave (90) and when we arrived was such a pleasure to walk in greeted by cool air from 2 mini-split AC units. Not typically needed in the northern woods of Maine, but quite welcome during this visit. Host is very responsive and accommodating. Looking forward to booking again in the future!"

"The apartment was very clean and very comfortable! Check in was easy and the parking was convenient. The kitchen has everything you need in case you want to cook rather than go out (Hannaford’s just down the street). WiFi was fast and reliable. The host was kind and delightful! "Super private and secluded setting right on the lake with GORGEOUS views. Private beach with canoes, kayaks, and a dock (the kids loved all of it). We loved the rustic charm of the house and even though we stayed during the hottest days of the summer, the rooms cooled off nicely at night with the many provided fans! There is an expansive deck to relax on and the outdoor shower was amazing after spending the day by the water or coming back from a hike! There is super fast wi-fi available as well...

"Charming home full of character! We had a lovely weekend stay in this home…was super close to our rafting outfitter so it was easy peasy. The “secret” room was a delightful and fun surprise! Traveled with 3 teenagers and a golden and everyone had plenty of space to spread out! Lovely porches!"

"We had a short stay here at this cabin so we would ride the trails with our side by side! It was a cute cabin with many beds for family and pet friendly which is very important to us. This area of Maine is beautiful and relaxing - people are friendly. The trails are groomed nicely the lookout was cool! Thank you Tom for all your help with check in! The kitchen was huge and table beautifully made! Lots of charm and character you can tell the family that owns it spent many years making cherished...

"This is a cabin on a lake. It's simple. No tv, microwave, washer/dryer or dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. It was super clean. Basic cooking needs. Sometimes you need to be creative. The outdoor grill worked great. Best of all is the lake! Crisp clean water! Lots of fish caught off the dock. Definitely recommend!!"
