"We enjoyed how quiet the property and surrounding area was. Went for a nice long walk and took in the Bay. The Annex has everything you need, besides a tv, but the view from the windows makes up for that. Tea on the back patio in the evening helped us relax after a day of travel. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast in the main house with lively conversation with the owners. They helped us plan our next day of travel. "

"We are still swooning over our stay at this precious cottage! Finola could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We loved the country, rustic setting and took full advantage of the outdoor patio and late sunsets. We slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed and used the second room for our luggage. "Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
