Experience an affordable, cozy retreat in our rustic shelter cabin, nestled in the heart of nature. Rates vary by date; see your booking quote. This charming cabin sleeps four, offering a snug haven from the elements. It's a perfect blend of camping and comfort, complete with a lockable door for security. It also includes basic electricity with a light and a 6 outlet strip to plug in your laptop or cell phones. As well as a 1000 watt heater to take the chill off on chilly, but not super cold nights.

Located in the B-sector of the camp along a quiet private gravel road that goes deep into the ancient forest, this 10x12 lofted barn cabin boasts four twin cots, each with a mattress: two below and two up in the lofts, accessible by an inside ladder. While the cabin is a rustic haven with only basic electricity (a power strip and a light) and only cots (with mattresses) and a shelf, it's perfect for those seeking a genuine sheltered camping experience. Rest easy knowing you can secure the cabin with a hasp for a padlock and an inside latch for nighttime safety. Also, you will need to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows, comforters and/or sleeping bags.



This cabin has basic electric including an outlet, a fan, a light and 1000 watt heater for winter.



The cabin serves as an excellent refuge from wind and rain, doubling as a convenient kitchenette and food storage area. Safety is a priority, with a hasp for your padlock on the exterior and an inside latch for nighttime security.



Step outside to a world of natural beauty. The cabin includes a fire ring, slabwood benches, and two dedicated parking spaces at the cabin. Conveniently close are frost-free spigots for water and an electric charging station.



With space for a medium to large tent and additional parking, your group can comfortably enjoy the wilderness. We offer firewood bundles for sale, easily payable via smartphone. You're also welcome to gather free wood from around the camp - just remember to bring a saw and loppers for collecting.



Our cabin sits along the stunning Dryfork River, surrounded by the Monongahela and Fernow Experimental Forests, and Nature Conservancy lands. Explore islands, swim holes, rapids, and diverse shorelines, all part of your extraordinary riverfront experience. This is your gateway to adventure and tranquility.



SLEEPING, BEDDING AND GROUP SIZE

Four guests are included in the nightly rate. Four twin cots with mattresses are provided: two below and two in the lofts. The cabin sleeps four; with your own tent outside, the site accommodates a maximum of eight guests.



Sheets, blankets, pillows, comforters and sleeping bags are not provided; please bring all of your own bedding.



Children ages 2–12 count toward the included guest allowance and maximum occupancy. Infants under 2 stay free and are excluded from those counts.



GUEST CAPACITY AND BRING-YOUR-OWN TENTS

The maximum guest count is the total permitted overnight group size for this site, including guests camping outside in their own tents. It is not a promise of an indoor bed or furnished sleeping space for every guest. Refer to the sleeping arrangements above for the beds, cots, mats and any tents supplied with this booking. Guests using their own tents must bring their tents, sleeping equipment and bedding. All overnight guests, including tent campers, must be included in the reservation and remain within the site maximum; applicable extra-person fees apply. Bringing a tent does not increase the maximum occupancy.
