"First impression - dead plants and unkept flower beds in the front of the hotel and dirty windows. The hotel is rundown and had an odd musty smell which was layered with frebreeze. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, or sink plug. We had to request towels as there were none in the room upon arrival. Furniture and fixtures show signs of excessive wear and large visible stains in hallway carpet. Bathroom shower had visible cracks in the base. Green algae in the pool area on the tiles. Guest...

"This is not a well-maintained property. For example, the staircases were dirty, and the room smelled stale.
If you need to sleep for a night, it should be fine, but for a longer stay, please choose something else.
While we are not very picky with the food, the free breakfast had very little variety.
We will not be choosing or recommending this hotel."

"This listing was as advertised! Great location for a get-away. If you are looking for a peaceful stay this is a great option. This location is for those that are looking to get of the beaten track and in the true sense of the term "get away" . Especially if you are looking for the "Fall-Vibe" of spectacular scenery and weather. The accommodation were clean both in the cottage, hot tub, and the overall property. "This comfy cottage had many quiet spots for meditation/reading/ conversations. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and things were in good order. Two fridges were very useful - no need to get more supplies in town. We loved the sunrises, sunsets, even the Milky Way. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, walks, and the daily visits of a blue heron in the end of our little bay. September was an excellent time to visit!"
