"Outdated. Pool and hot tub are clean and great though. First room was dirty had to request room on second floor. There’s like a marsh right behind motel so the first floor room felt very humid and sticky. Wouldn’t pay more than $100 a night. AC worked fine. Took a while for hot water to come on. Water pressure was good."

"The rooms are ok, they were clean and beds are comfortable. The pool was not clean, also, the reels to access the pool were loose."

"It’s pretty equal to the nightly cost. But the bathrooms were very old looking, the shower had long fake hair stuck to the tile wall and in tub. Bed frame was very flimsy but mattress was comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. I had a room with a kitchette but it had almost nothing useful to cook or eat with. No room service the first two days I was there (so no new towels, no trash disposal, no hand towels, no soap or sponge for the kitchen sink. No broom or vacuum to clean up any sand...

"I did not like anything. I had too go next door to sign in. I guess there was no staff at the Empress. The room smelled awefull. I had to go buy Lysol for the smell and the whole room smelled this way. I would never go back and stay there"
