"My family of 4 plus mother in law enjoyed 3 great nights at this home over the 4th of July. The house has 5 large bedrooms, which were perfect for our group. In contrast to other places we’ve stayed, the thoughtful hosts provided fans in each room and plenty of towels. Check in was a breeze. And the location is fantastic! The running water from the creek and river and all the area birds provided a relaxing backdrop. The house has a great location - close to Gunnison and an easy drive up to CB....

"Harmels on the Taylor is a very nice resort. Unfortunately, we booked late so had a motel style room. We plan to go back and stay in one of their cabins. Breakfast was included and they have a fabulous dining room deck overlooking the Taylor River. We ate all our meals on that deck with our dog. The one thing that needs mentioning. "We stayed at this house for a long weekend and it was perfect! The house is about halfway from Gunnison and Crested Butte and the bus stops are right outside the house to make going to each town very convenient. The house was clean, spacious and had a well stocked kitchen/pantry. We will definitely book again!"

"My husband and I and our dog spent the weekend at this lovely resort along the Taylor river. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose to do a guided fly fishing tour with John and it was a great morning! He was a great instructor and taught us both a lot.The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and the restaurant and bar were a nice plus so that we could stay on property the whole time."
