"Host messaged me after booking and told me his place was actually unavailable but would not cancel my reservation because he would get charged by vrbo. Very inconsiderate considering the time it takes to get refunded by vrbo - I am still waiting for my refund after long conversations with them. He essentially passes on the fee to me in doing this given the cost of my time to obtain this refund. Do not recommend. "

"We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with."

"When we checked in, the card key did not work on the door, which we found was left partially open. The front desk clerk tried 3 times to re-key the card, but it never worked. We were told if we left our room and wanted to get back in, the clerk could let us in with the master key. Once inside, we discovered the electrical outlets on the bed-side of the room were inoperable, as the night stand lamps and alarm clock did not work. "My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here. Kevin was an excellent host who promptly responded to any questions we had. The cabin itself was beautiful and well maintained and was nestled in such a peaceful area. The hot tub was definitely an added bonus with such beautiful scenery! We would highly recommend a stay here and hope to stay here again ourselves!"
