"Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was good but the service was slow and refilling of food was very slow. Seemed like they were understaffed for the number of guests."

"Customer service was top notch.Went there for a quick 3 day trip for our 25th wedding anniversary before flying out later in the month. I tried my luck and asked the hotel room to be decorated to reflect the occasion and Village hotel delivered big time! They decorated the room with flowers and gave us a whole bottle of expensive Champagne to grace the occasion as well. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and impressed- Thank you so much Village hotel , we will surely be back. Hotel also...

"The room I had was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff ver froendly and happy to help with any query. Breakfast was buffet style full English on offer, cereals, fruit, toast. Dinks tea coffee, and 4 fresh fruit juices. "

"Yes this hotel is a bit dated but we didn’t care about that. The staff were all lovely, the location is fabulous and the food was excellent. We would 100% stay again. One tiny criticism, the bins on the outside terrace were overflowing and seagulls were fighting over the pizza scraps. "

"A minha estadia foi boa, os empregados eram muito simpáticos, muitos deles portugueses, sem barulho, o mais estranho é o chão que é de madeira e que as pessoas ao passarem no corredor ou quarto ao lado o nosso abana, inclusivé a cama, parecendo que as pessoas estão no nosso quarto."

"O hotel Cumberland cumpriu com o prometido em termos de acomodações, localização, limpeza e café da manhã. O único problema ocorreu com meu colega que hospedou-se em um quarto no primeiro andar e não pode dormir devido a uma festa que aconteceu na sexta-feira na boate do hotel. Estávamos em um Congresso e a noite de sono perdida foi um transtorno para ele. O hotel precisa cuidar desses detalhes que fazem toda diferença durante uma hospedagem!"

"Unfortunately the hotel car park was full on arrival, so had to pay £21 to park on the road. One of my wing mirror's ( adjacent to the pavement) was deliberately smashed overnight. I did manage to park in the hotel car park on Saturday, however I will not risk coming back to the hotel again. The incident spoilt the weekend. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Grove Hotel. The location is excellent, with everything you need just a short walk away. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. A special thank you to Roberto, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
