"Floor in our room was sticky… felt generally unclean and smelled of cologne. The hallways smelled Iike weed. Mentioned this to the front desk an only response was “yeah I noticed that too… it’s weird because we fine $250 for smoking in the rooms”… no apology just that. Pool was SO COLD my kids only lasted 15 min playing when normally they enjoy swimming much longer. "

"We’ve stayed her before and never had any issues, and the service is always stellar. Our rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was so kind and patient when we needed more towels in the evening; the assistant general manager whom checked us in was very professional and kind; the concierge that checked us out at the end of the day was a peach! I always recommend this hotel in Holland because I’ve never had a bad experience and it’s so clean and the breakfast is also very generous....

"The room had peeling paint and a stain on the mattress. Vending machines did not work. There was always a bunch of kids in pool splashing and sitting in the hot tub. Our bathtub had not been rinsed out. There was all kinds of bubbles in there. Breakfast was supposed to be served from 6am -9am. We got there at 8:10am. "Trash! don’t stay here unless you love the smell and look of water damage. Walked in the room and noticed a very weird smell that would absolutely be noticed by staff but clearly they didn’t care. If this wasn’t enough I was woken up before 6am to the sound of water dripping on side the walls and leaking into the shower. Yes, the dirt and mold from the wall spilled into the bathroom, making the smell worse. Paying for the room felt like an insult. I should have stayed at the $60 days inn down...
