"Hotel was adequate for our needs which were an overnight stay to attend a friend’s celebration. The location was good, parking close and good and a breakfast restaurant close. I felt the hotel was good value for money."

"Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

"The rooms were really nice and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was laid out at 9pm, which I understand due to it being an airport hotel however this then meant that come the morning, there was not much of anything left over. There was 1 pastry left at 7.30am, and no staff until around to replenish this. "

"Clean pleasant room that looked recently refurbished, with a kettle and microwave and a enough tea and coffee to survive a night and morning. A fridge and hairdryer was useful. Shower was good, stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was clean. Otherwise it was basic but sufficient. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
