"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"Beautiful home and amenities/activities. Every room had a spacious bed and each bed had electric blankets (wonderful in the winter!). The home is warm and feels welcoming as soon as you step inside. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. The host is very friendly and had the heaters going for us by the time we got there."

"We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! "Had a great time relaxing here over the weekend, location was perfect for those of was wanting a trip up the mountain and the spa was there for those who wanted to stay in the warmth. The only issue we had was bookabatch not informing us of the code to access the house, we had to call the help centre for crucial info. Wasnt a dealbreaker though, we will definitely stay again given the chamce. "

"We loved this charming cottage. It was welcoming, cosy, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. Clear communications from the host made the stay and checkout process easy. We would definitely look to book here again when we next visit the area. We did not ski, but the cottage's location makes it very handy to Whakapapa Village; just a short trip down the road."
