"As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. "Beautiful 13th century property expertly restored. Although the property has many personal touches the overall feel and quality are top grade. Carlo and his daughter Gioia both live on the property and were perfect hosts. The property is a little remote but close to several great restaurants (La Grotta and Al Mulino just to mention two) and not far from the town of Sasso Marconi which has anything you may need. The drive to Bologna Centro Storica is about 40 minutes. We had a great time...
