"This place was marvelous. It’s even better than the pictures make it look. Don’t hesitate. Book now. It’s be a yearly retreat for us if we didn’t have to pay for airfare to Costa Rica too. The manager lives next door and is super helpful as she understands the area well, and even runs her own coffee shop down the road from the house. If you rent a vehicle, make sure to get a 4x4. "I’m not sure I can say enough good things about this magical place. The cabin was perfectly clean and had absolutely everything one could hope for. Everything was as depicted in the pictures and just a true pleasure of a space. The AC in the bedrooms was a huge plus for travelers coming from cold climates. The kitchen and its amenities were a huge class as well, and it had every convenience who could hope for, for easy cooking. The location is truly beautiful. It really is right in the beach...

"This place is a wonderful home base for a visit to Avellanas. It's about 15 min walking from Avellanas beach (world class waves), 15 min driving from Playa Negra and about 30 min driving from Tamarindo. The space is really great: well equiped kitchen, big clean and nice bathroom and in both bedroons the beds are very comfortable. All the communication went very smoothly, and they were available all the time for any issue. I really recommend this place if you're thinking to explore around...

"It is true this is off the beaten track and very quiet except the dogs barking at 3am. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was crawling with ants. there were 2 holes in the wall that the ants were crawling out of.
