"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "Lovely room with great bathroom. A bath and separate shower was a treat. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. WiFi was good and nice decor. Staff were pleasant and was lovely to be able to converse Welsh. Location was handy for lots of places to visit. Defo hope to be back"

"The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one...

"The room was lovely and clean as were, the bedding and towels. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety. Staff polite and helpful. Parking is street parking but I didn't feel worried about my car being parked on the road. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for the lovely stay"

"The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor.
