"Die Villa ist wirklich großartig und genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, zweimal pro Woche wird alles gereinigt, es gibt jedes Mal frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Die ruhige Lage in den Bergen mit Blick auf Rethymno und das Meer sind ein Traum, die Außenküche super praktisch und mit dem Auto ist man in gut 5 Minuten beim Bäcker und in 10 Minuten beim Supermarkt. Marina ist wirklich eine großartige Gastgeberin! Danke!!!"

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Huisje ligt heerlijk rustig op een groot stuk grond, met een eigen zwembad. Behalve vogels, pauwen en kikkers hoor je niets. De keukenuitrusting is erg basic. Twee gezellige katten. Wij hebben steeds bij Petrokino in Mixorouma gegeten, een paar minuten met de auto. Daarnaast zit de supermarkt/bakkerij."

"Es hat alles gepasst, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Netter Kontakt schon im Vorfeld mit dem Vermieter und auch während des Aufenthaltes.Sehr schönes Haus und eine toll eingerichtete Küche. Eigentlich wollten wir gar nicht so oft kochen; aber bei der Küche und den frischen Zutaten vom Markt, hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Wir können das Haus und den Vermieter vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen."

"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. The owners MADE our stay! Genuine Cretan food and hospitality."

Villa Adonis is GREAT and we had a super week there. It is quite possibly the cleanest, freshest smelling villa we have ever rented so our compliments to Nikki who oversees this.
