Inspired by the Zac Brown Band, "Knee Deep in Paradise" offers visitors a peaceful and easy escape from the stress of every day life where your "only worry is whether the tide will reach your chair." We invite you to come visit our relaxing slice of paradise in the popular gated community of Barrier Dunes on beautiful Cape San Blas.

Knee Deep in Paradise is a lovely, pet-friendly, 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse, with a sleeper sofa, to accommodate up to 6 guests. The first floor welcomes you into an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. We have comfortable seating and a large streaming TV, perfect for family movie nights after a fun-filled day at the beach. Our living area opens onto a wonderful screened-in porch with outdoor seating and a gas grill. We look out towards the St. Joseph's Bay and the entrance to the spectacular St. Joseph Pennisula State Park, which hosts one of the best beaches in the United States, ranked by Dr Beach.

Our cozy dining table seats four (for meals or game nights) with additional seating at the spacious bar. Our kitchen has everything you need - a French door refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, k-cup coffee maker, crock pot, blender, plenty of cookware, dishes, and glassware. We have stocked our kitchen in hopes that you will eat, drink, and be merry together!

Also on the first level is a bright and cheerful bedroom and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The bedroom is setup with two twin beds, has a wall-mounted streaming TV, and enjoys a wonderful little private deck that looks across to the neighborhood playground, which is a perfect place for kids to enjoy.

Upstairs we have a private, spacious, comfortable master suite with a nice king sized bed, a large streaming TV, and a private deck that looks out at the bay. Take a cup of coffee out there and watch the sun rise. You can't help but relax in this beautiful place. The vanity area has double sinks, and the bathroom has a wonderful garden tub for soaking, as well as a separate shower. There is also a full size washer & dryer in the laundry room on this level.

Whether your babies have two or four feet, all are welcome in our home. We have installed two permanent baby gates, one at each staircase to help keep everyone safe.

Once you are all settled in, we are just a short 5 minute walk through the complex to the beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes has 3 easy beach access points. We have beach chairs, beach toys, and a cart for your convenience, as well as an outdoor shower with hot & cold water for rinsing sandy toes and paws when you get back.

Our community is a great place for people of all ages. We have two tennis/pickleball courts, ponds where kids love to feed the resident turtles, a boat cleaning station with overflow boat parking, safe streets for walking your dog or riding bikes, and two swimming pools. One pool is centrally located in the complex, and the other pool is gulf front with covered picnic tables and a gazebo overlooking the sugar white sand and beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Our townhouse is situated on a small horseshoe bend that gives you a real neighborhood feeling. It's peaceful and quiet and a little off the "main drag" and overlooks the wonderful neighborhood playground with all new play equipment. Our unit offers a wonderful place for families to make happy memories together, as well as the perfect spot for snowbirds to enjoy an escape from harsh winters. Any time of the year, we are happy to invite you to come and experience Knee Deep in Paradise.
