Very comfortable Studio Efficiency Condo on the Beach

King bed and Standard size bed. Small kitchenette includes mini-fridge, microwave, new wave oven, crock pot, Keurig coffee maker, small stove/oven and dishwasher. Walk in closet for storage with iron and ironing board. Property has swimming pool, barbeque grills, out door showers and beach access. Our floor has outdoor seating to view sunsets, designated smoking area and full coin laundry facilities.

I was skeptical of this room because there was not a balcony but i was able to open the window and listen to the waves while eating. It had a perfect view of the beach!!! We loved that there was not a parking garage as well. The lady in the shop on the first floor was absolutely the sweetest and helped us out when we needed it. I only gave 4 stars on the cleanliness becuase it does need a baseboard deep clean. Its not something that would keep me from coming back to the same condo though! I was able to cook supper and we had all the dishes that we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this condo and the ease of access to the beach. The hosts' were easy to get in touch with and made the process smooth!

Beautiful view !! Stay and room was ok. Definitely needs some updating and elbow grease. Very disappointed that there wasn’t a balcony and if you have trouble walking long distances, this is not the room for you. Almost needed an Uber to get there from the elevator !!

Perfect location

We had a great stay. It was a great location and the pool area great. It had games for the teenagers a snack bar that had food and drinks. The only thing we wish the room had was a keypad so we didn’t have the keys or the key lock thing to use. We’ll definitely stay again!

Good Overall But Has Cons

Overall, our family weekend getaway was nice. (Not the best weather, but nothing anyone can do about that.) The view was fabulous—a must in my beach trips. The location was perfect. The building itself was further down from all the hullabaloo which we were grateful for. Super easy and quick to get to the pool and the beach (another must). I wasn’t aware there was a kids pool—a happy surprise for our 3 year old.The room itself had pros and cons. It was a great size for the three of us. It was nice to have a dishwasher, plenty of towels, a beach chair/umbrella, and dishes (though the plastic margarita cup fell apart the moment I touched it). Beds were comfy with extra blankets. The cons though:- The bathroom needs help, especially the shower. There were cracks in the floor of the shower, and dirty water would come out of the cracks. It was pretty gross. Plus, the air vent was absolutely disgusting.- The window screen was ripped pretty bad which meant bugs could easily fly in (fortunately it was cool & rainy over the weekend, so no bugs).- The floor still had sand and dirt on it the moment we walked in the very first time. - The Keurig. I was thrilled there was a Keurig available since I use mine every day at home. It was so frustrating though. I would add water, and before even pressing anything, half the water I just put in would immediately dispense. Every time. Maybe it’s user error, but I don’t think so since I know Keurigs very well. Overall a good stay.

Pictures are old & not accurate

Check in was not at 4:00 as expected. The cleaning crew was running late. That wasn't a problem though, we went to Pier Park. We checked in around 5:30 & although the condo smelled like bleach it was not clean. The floors were filthy, especially in the bathroom . I swept the floor & I kept my shoes on. There was no way I was going barefoot. Sheets & pillow cases were stained with blood & ripped in 2 places . The night stands had all kind of dirt, dust & trash behind them. One was very sticky. Ceiling fan was dirty as was the bathroom vent fan.There was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands. FYI Not that this was a issue, but there not a balcony.The Top of the Gulf itself was nice Pool are very clean & all the staff very courteous.

Perfect view

Overall everything was great. Perfect little getaway spot with the family. Price was on point, king bed was comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Only reason i gave it a 4 on cleaning was it could use a little tlc but nothing i couldn't live with.

So Glad i went with my Gut And Booked Here!!

Me and my husband Searched through so many sites. Something kept pulling me back to this one. After booking i went back and started to read reviews and honestly didnt know what i was stepping into. We got there our room was everything we wanted plus so much more. The room sleeps 6 easily but it was only me and him and so we had plaenty of room. Had plenty of rokm to put up our belongings. You get what you pay for.

We wanted a quick weekend getaway before our kids school started and for the price we paid we knew it wouldn't be a luxury condo. It was inexpensive and served it purpose. We did leave early because our youngest child caught a stomach bug while there and experienced vomiting for 24 hrs straight. I am unsure what triggered it b/c we all ate the same food, however she did swallow some pool water prior to the onset. Pro's- Direct beach access w/ a great beach view. Close proximity to stores and restaurants. No Front desk Check-in process, keybox located at the door and the Owner provided the code prior to check-in. Pool w/ ample seating available. Owner provided a beach umbrella. AC was noisy, but air was cold Con's- The Condo is in need of updating/remodeling. (Bathroom cabinets are warped, paint peeling/discolored, needs new grouting/floor scrubbing, Kitchen bench could use some reupholstering/ cleaning, random hair on the counters/floor, bathroom waterfall faucet had dirt/gunk in it. ect.) Bathroom is very small and hard to maneuver in. Constant bad smell in the hall leading up to the condo, but you can not smell it in the actual room. $30 parking pass fee, but I rarely saw security at the guard shack (no gate), so pretty much anyone has access to the parking lot. I passed by open doors of other condo's with the same layout and they looked beautiful, so this condo has all the potential to be nice, but its has seen better days and needs a great deal of updating.

So old and dirty!

The unit was so old and dirty. The air conditioner wasn’t blowing much cold air and they had a box fan running in hopes we wouldn’t notice. The vents to the a/c were covered in a thick layer of dust. Tiles missing up against the windows. Mold growing in the walls in the bathroom. The cabinet that had a tv on top was being held up with a coaster tile. The one bench was so dirty that when I touched it, grit was on my hand. Just so dirty. We left and did not stay. The owners were not particularly shocked when I mentioned how dirty the unit was. Thankfully I was able to get my money back and relocated to a hotel- however, it wasn’t on the beach as planned.

Loved it!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday and it was just perfect. The room had what we needed and had a great view. It’s right on the beach, has a pool, and a bar with food and drink. Terry the front desk lady was kind and so is the owner of the rooms. He communicated well and made sure I had a good room. Thanks again! I’ll be back!

Great Spot, Terrible Condi

The view was beautiful and the location was spot on, but the condition of the condo left much to be desired. The room was filthy. Dishes were dirty and thrown in and under cabinets, the bathroom was dirty and toilet and bathtub were clogged and both extremely slow to drain. The plastic shower curtain liner was so disgusting that we had to buy one at a nearby Walmart. The window seat was also filthy so at that point we couldn't even trust that the bedding was clean, so we bought bedding as well. Will not rent this condo ever again.

4 day weekend

The room was still being cleaned at 4 when we were supposed to be able to get in the room, the check in at the front had a women that was clearly on something and did not leave instructions for the other lady that worked there. Had a parking pass in my vehicle, it would not hang from the rear view mirror so I placed it in the middle on the dash board. On Sunday my car was being towed, luckily my girlfriend had went to Starbucks and saw it happening and asked them why he said he was told and even showed me when I got out there that my vehicle was being towed because I parked in front of the hairdresser shack! My vehicle was parked in the middle of the parking lot no where around the guard shack at the front entrance. The same lady that checked us in again clearly on something said I was being towed because I did not have a parking pass … however when I questioned her she remembered me and told the tow truck driver to drop it. I made sure when I got into my vehicle to show her the parking pass! She was crazy and has no business working there! The tow truck driver proceeded to tell me he comes out to this business all the time! This was our 2nd trip here and loved it but now I do not believe I will return, which is sad! Great price, location and setup but after that ordeal Ijust don’t know!
