This exquisite home, constructed by the esteemed ChiMar Construction – recipients of Destin Magazine's 'Best Construction Company' awards in 2014 & 2015 – boasts elegance and comfort like no other. Its recent completion in 2012 ensures a modern and inviting atmosphere for your stay.

Perfectly designed to accommodate 8 guests, The Summer Palace invites you to unwind and bask in the serene outdoors with three inviting porches adorned with Adirondack chairs and comfortable wicker furniture. Inside, the recently updated home exudes a beach casual theme, with stunning hardwood floors and the latest in countertop surfaces creating an atmosphere of coastal luxury.

Immerse yourself in relaxation as each bedroom and the family room are equipped with flat screen TVs, complemented by password-protected Wi-Fi access and iPhone chargers for the tech-savvy traveler. The master suite on the upper level pampers you with a king-sized bed, a walk-in shower featuring a soothing rain shower head, a walk-in closet, a private balcony/porch, and a convenient desk/make-up area. Your guests will be treated to a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom in the guest room, while the bunkroom, designed with built-in bunks, accommodates up to 4 individuals and includes its private bath.

Parking is never a concern, as The Summer Palace offers 2 off-street spaces and curb parking. Embrace the natural beauty surrounding the property, as it backs up to a tranquil wooded preserve and a nearby bike path leading to the charming Rosemary Beach, providing a space for children to frolic outdoors.

Family vacation

Great location it’s close to everything you would want to do. So many families around as well that was super nice. We enjoyed easy access to the beach and pool. The house was beautiful just as advertised. Our host was very responsive to me with any questions we had. Our trip started off rocky with delays and baggage issues and she was easy to get ahold of that made things easier. We were able to go deep sea fishing. A first for my eldest. We will definitely be back in the future. You can rent bikes close by which made things easy to get to. We were there for the Fourth of July so we saw amazing fireworks off the beach and in our neighborhood.

Wonderful property and host!

This house is so nice and in a great location. It is perfect for a family beach trip. The house was spotless when we arrived and the checkin process was super easy. I will definitely book this property again!

Beautiful home in Seacrest

We loved staying in this beautiful home in Seacrest. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and roomy enough for our family. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of Seacrest Beach, the community pool, shops, and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend it; we would absolutely stay there again.

A fantastic stay!

The house had plenty of space and is very nice. We loved the outdoor spaces to sit while the kids slept and it was so quiet at night. You saw security making rounds throughout the night. Kids were riding their bikes and playing. It seems like a long walk to the beach, but it really isn't and if you don't want to walk the tram is an easy ride or you can rent bikes. The house is a short walk to shops and restaurants and the beautiful, large pool. Rosemary was only a slightly further walk/bike ride, but it was totally doable! Mary Beth was great and communicated with us prior and after the trip. We hope to return next year!

Hidden Gem

We had an absolutely amazing week at the Summer Palace. The house was clean, beautiful decorated, and spacious. Every detail has been thought out and we were so appreciative. Mary Beth was so easy to work with too. We decided last minute to stay an extra day and Mary Beth accommodated us and made it so easy. We will be coming back.

Lovely family vacation week

Everything as advertised. Good communication. Great to have the trolley to take us to beach access and to be able to walk to the awesome neighborhood pool. We had an issue with fridge on arrival and this was addressed expediently and satisfactorily. Would stay again!

Nice clean house with easy access to Seacrest community

The house was great, well furnished and equipped. Kids enjoyed biking to the shops and restaurants in Seacrest. We spent Easter weekend there and hoped to spend the week in the pool, but it was not heated and a bit too cold to swim. Only complaint about the area is that the beach access is a good distance from the neighborhood and by the time we got there at late-morning it was wall-to-wall people.

The Summer Palace is a great house and we enjoyed our stay. Communication with the property owner was excellent and check in easy. The house/kitchen was well stocked and very clean and comfortable. The Seacrest neighborhood is charming and it was a quick easy walk (or tram) across the street to the beautiful beach. Also an easy walk to Rosemary shops/dining and Inlet beach. A short drive to Seaside and Watercolor. We didn’t have great weather the week before Christmas but our teens girls never complained there was so much to do and see! If you plan a stay at the Summer Palace, you will love it!

Easy Getaway

We loved our after Christmas Getaway at Summer Palace in Seacrest Beach. House backed up to nature trail and felt private, yet quick bike ride to shops, pool, beach path. House was clean, stylish and had everything we needed.

Fall Break Get Away

Lovely home. More than we enough room for our family of 3. Had we known, we would have invited another family to join us. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get to the beach as the tram service was timely and dependable.

Quiet Oasis Yet Well Located

From booking to checkout Mary Beth was a very welcoming and professional host. Instructions for the home and access were very easy to navigate. This home is located at the back of the subdivision which makes it quiet and away from the traffic on 30-A but still a short walk to the beach. The home backs to the nature trail which also makes for a short walk into Rosemary Beach. We found the home to be supplied with most all of our essential needs and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screen porch which overlooks the green belt at the rear of the property. This is our fourth year to travel to the Emerald Coast area on 30-A for our winter vacation and we are always anxious to go back. Many thanks to this host for making it another memorable year!

Great House for a family

The property was perfect for our family of 5. Having some of the kids stuff like a pack 'n play and high chair are nice touches and make travel easier. We also liked that the property is closer to the back of the neighborhood which reduced the amount of traffic around the house.
