The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a spacious living room, dining room combination and an updated kitchen. The master suite is on the front of the unit with private access to the balcony, a full size en-suite bath with separate vanity, overhead and indirect lighting, flat screen television and seating. The second bedroom has two full size beds, television and private access to the second full bath. That bath can also be entered from the hall.
The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, two recliners, a flat screen television and access to the private balcony. It is possible to sit in the airconditioned comfort of the living room and see the Gulf of Mexico and tropical canopy sky as they merge on the horizon. That alone is a very tempting, relaxing activity to enjoy if you're looking to get away from the stress of the everyday hustle and bustle of life.
The dining room is furnished with an elegant glass top table and a granite breakfast bar, combined they provide seating for seven. It's possible to sit at the breakfast bar to discuss the highlights of the day with the family cook, who by the way, also has a clear view of the Gulf. The Dunes of Panama has 3 Gulf front pools, one is seasonally heated, 2 nice pool decks with tables and chairs, shuffle board court, basket ball court, very nice all weather tennis courts, an exercise and weights room, Beach volley ball and Suds Weezer. Suds Weezer is a convenience store offering essential items, a selection of souveniers, sandwiches, cold drinks and cocktails. They will even pack a picnic basket for you if you're intested in taking one to the beautiful, award winning St. Andrews State Park.
St. Andrews State Park should be on every nature lovers MUST DO list, plan to spend an entire day there because there is so much to see and do including renting a bicycle or boat, taking a boat ride to Shell Island, visiting the rookery, touring a model turpentine mill, sight seeing at the Gator Pond, the marsh or the jetties. There are also fresh and salt water fishing piers available at St. Andrews State Park, picinic and bbq facilities, a museum and several walking trails. All of this is less than 2 miles from The Sandpiper.
