"Everyone had a great time at this rental, plenty of room and very comfortable for family to hang out and spend time together. We had everything we needed there. Communication with the host was excellent and they were very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We would definitely love to rent again."

"My husband and I were visiting family close by. We also did an atv ride which was a short drive from the cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The little loop of cottages was quiet and relaxing. There are many activities in the area. The cottage is close to Skowhegan, so you can get groceries there is a Walmart and Dunkins, yet it's out enough that it feels private and country like. The screened in porch was very nice. A short walk away and you are at the lake."

"This perfect house on Sebasticook Lake was everything the pictures present. We stayed for almost a week and will definitely book another week next year. One disappointing part of our trip was that the town of Newport had already drained the lake for the season on September 11 and there was not enough water to launch the boat. If you are staying here to boat and fish please call the town before booking. The property manager was very helpful and shared some lakes nearby so not was all lost."

"My partner and I had such a lovely time at this home. The house interior is beautiful and spacious. The couch is so comfy! The views were amazing. It rained the whole weekend, and we weren't even bothered as the home itself was so nice to spend time in. I highly recommend sipping coffee and looking out over the lake to get those relaxing vacation vibes started. "My husband and I absolutely loved this location. The view is spectacular and the property is immaculate. I would caution anyone traveling with older adults or very young children, there are a lot of stairs—in the house and down to the water. My father in-law claimed climbing up from the lake to the house was equivalent to climbing the Eiffel Tower. (It’s not, but you get his point.) We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"Very nice! Spacious, lots of rooms and very clean. The sunset was amazing. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. When I got the address a few days before our stay the address was listed 314.....unfortunately we drove to the very end of a long pitted, dirt road. Turned around. Luckily I had a photo of the house and we figured out the the number was 34, NOT 314. A bit of confusion."

"The owner is very friendly and accommodating, the property is beautiful, and they have a great idea; however, it would be nice if they ran electricity to the area. We were unable to charge our phones, and the dampness was very uncomfortable. A space heater would have done wonders to help with the cold and damp. The bed was pretty comfortable. The shower pump would not start in the morning, so we spent the next day feeling dirty. With a few tweaks this place could be improved. "
