THE SPACE:

Welcome to The Blue Door Bungalow—your private Palm Springs oasis! This charming retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and style, where comfort and vibrant desert vibes meet. Whether you’re unwinding in the cozy living spaces, lounging by the spool, or exploring all that Palm Springs has to offer, you’ll feel right at home in this sunny getaway.

Ideal for up to six guests, this bungalow shines with two beautifully appointed bedrooms and a versatile bonus room. It’s the perfect spot for up to four guests to enjoy a peaceful desert escape, with plenty of room to spread out and unwind.

Each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind, featuring cozy furnishings, ceiling fans, and generous closet space. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a smart TV, and a private en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed and access to a sleek, remodeled hallway bathroom. The bonus room features a yoga/exercise/office space, plus a built-in double-size Murphy bed, ideal for an extra guest or the little ones to snuggle up.

The bungalow is bathed in natural light and filled with cheerful, vibrant artwork that reflects the lively spirit of Palm Springs.

Step outside into your own private backyard paradise! The spool—both a pool and spa in one—is perfect for lazy days or soaking your cares away. Surrounded by tall hedges for complete privacy, the backyard also features a patio cover, propane BBQ grill, lounge chairs, a cozy seating area, and a propane fire pit that’s perfect for those cool desert evenings.

The spacious living room invites you to unwind with a comfy couch and plenty of entertainment options, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and an Alexa to help with all your needs. We also have board games and poker chips for endless fun.

Cooking at home is a breeze in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare your meals—from cookware to dishes, all stocked and ready to go!

Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and 40 minutes from the stunning Joshua Tree, this home is the perfect base to explore the area. Plus, Demuth Park is nearby, offering trails, pickleball courts, tennis, a dog park, and more—all with breathtaking views!

Being a Good Vacation Rental Neighbor:

This home is nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood, ideal for a relaxing poolside retreat. To maintain the quiet atmosphere of the area, we ask guests to be mindful of neighbors and follow all city regulations. Music and loud noise are prohibited, and parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are between 9:00 PM and 10:00 AM. Please respect the neighborhood’s peaceful vibe and keep your stay enjoyable for everyone.

Situated just 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, this home offers easy access to local attractions, including:
• Demuth Park: 12 pickleball courts, trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, dog park
• Main Street and Cathedral City: Just a short drive away
• Joshua Tree: Only 40 minutes away for a day trip

This vacation rental is in a serene residential area. We kindly ask guests to respect the tranquility of the community by adhering to city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise, with strict enforcement of quiet hours between 9:00 pm and 10:00 am. No parties or events are allowed.

PLEASE NOTE:

Per city regulations, all guests are required to sign the Palm Springs Statement of Rules and Regulations and Good Neighbor Brochure prior to their stay. Compliance with these rules is mandatory throughout your visit. Repeated violations may lead to additional fines and immediate eviction. These rules are strictly enforced by the City of Palm Springs, and by booking this property, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.

Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!

OPEN AIR HOMES HOUSE RULES:

- By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.

- You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.

-Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.

- Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in an additional charge of up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to the Owner and/or Company.

- For any items left behind after check-out, guests will be charged the shipping costs and an additional service fee of $25.

- A minimum of $25 will be charged per lost or unreturned keys, fobs, or access cards. Please ensure they are returned before check-out.

- Additional fees are required for pool/spa heat if applicable, please reach out to Reservations for more details.

- The AC cannot be set lower that 75 degrees when the outdoor temperature exceeds 100s. If tampering with the HVAC equipment causes any issues  which require a service call and/or repairs, this will be billable to your party

- Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a $250 fine.

- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during their stay. Any damages must be reported immediately to the host to ensure proper documentation.

- Please dispose of all trash in the designated bins provided. If the trash bins are full, please notify the host for further instructions.

- Any unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight without prior written approval from the host. Additional guests may result in an additional charge.



PALM SPRINGS RULES & REGULATIONS

- Do not create excessive noise, disturbances or traffic, or engage in disorderly conduct (including parties).

- Amplified music is not allowed outside AT ANY TIME (including mobile phones on "speakerphone"). Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). IF YOUR NEIGHBORS CAN HEAR MUSIC, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE CITY ORDINANCE. The minimum citation is $1,000.

- Please keep voices and pool activities to a reasonable level. Continued and ongoing screaming for an extended period is one way to get a citation.

- Night time hours are between 10 pm and 10 am. Please consider moving indoors after 10 pm. If you choose to be outside, please be considerate of the neighbors and use indoor voices. Please remember PS neighborhoods are quiet, surrounded by mountains and voices can easily carry.

- Only one vehicle per bedroom is allowed at any given time. Utilize the driveway and/or garage when parking your vehicle before using street parking. And never block any driveway or street access.

- Palm Springs requires that all dogs be on a leash whenever they are outside, except in the City’s Dog Park. Also, we expect everyone to pick up after their pet, failure to do so will incur additional costs at check out.

- Please do not store trash and refuse within public view except in proper containers for collection. Please do not leave trash or recycling at the curb.

A call from the neighbors to the City will bring the Vacation Rental Compliance Officers to your door. City code enforcement officers may issue you a $1,000+ citation if you exceed the allowed noise levels or if another violation is observed. Please keep in mind that you may be cited and/or fined by the City, or even evicted by the owner, for creating a disturbance or for violating other provisions of the City’s Vacation Rental Ordinance. The surrounding neighbors have been given a 24-hour number to CALL should they need to file a complaint.

It was a great spot to spend a few days with family. The unit is in a really nice location, was equipped with everything we needed, and the property mangers were great!. Would stay again.

This property is exactly as described. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Once in the property you are in your own private Palm Springs Vacation Home. It was lovely my dog and my son and friend also enjoyed the Stay.
