Welcome to Hacienda dos Palmas! This 3200 sq. ft single-story home is a California Mission Ranch style on an expansive half acre, conveniently situated in the Araby Commons neighborhood in South Palm Springs.

The backyard is the crown jewel of the property and the start of resort living. Enjoy the stunning views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains while relaxing in the saltwater pool, Baja shelf or spa. Enjoy a game of volleyball, badminton, crocket or bocce ball on the lush lawn. Dine al fresco using the built-in 38” gas barbeque and then enjoy the night sky gathered around the firepit.

You enter your own private paradise as soon as you come through the gate. The home has an indulgent private resort feel with everything you need for that special get away with family and friends. It is warm, comfortable and inviting with the space and seclusion needed to unwind, rejuvenate and reenergize.

Walking down the private pathway from the driveway to the front door, you will have the feeling of entering a secret garden. Pass through the front double doors and enter into the Foyer where you are met with an open concept and a warm color palate inspired by the desert. Take two steps down into the main living spaces of the Living, Dining, Family rooms and Kitchen. These rooms are attractively appointed with comfortable leather and wood furnishings and unique décor. The spaces are on the same level and are divided into two separate areas with a wonderful flow. The living room with attached dining room has a gas fireplace. There is a second gas fireplace in the Family room which adjoins the kitchen. The rooms are large with cathedral ceilings, natural light and views of the mountains and outdoor spaces.
There is plenty of seating and space for everyone. The family room has a large 60” flat-screen TV with Bluetooth sound bar & DVD player.

The kitchen is stocked with all types of Chef wares and gadgets to aid your culinary creativity when you are not out to one of Palm Springs fabulous restaurants.

The master bedroom is a very large 600 square foot oasis with rich dark furniture. The king size sleigh bed has a 14” memory foam & gel mattress. The room has a library sitting area with natural light and a decorative fireplace plus a walk-in closet. Enjoy the 48” TV with sound system & DVD player. Enter through a sliding barn door to the large 5-piece en-suite master bathroom with double vanity, jet tub and walk-in shower.
Bedroom #2 is a peaceful master suite retreat with a king size bed. Sleep on a 14” memory foam & gel mattress, enjoy the 40” flat screen TV. The room has 3-piece en-suite bath.
Bedroom #3 is a warm bedroom with two twin beds and a 32” TV. It shares a large 4-piece bathroom with Bedroom #4.
Bedroom #4 is an inviting and comfortable, oversized bedroom with a king size bed, 14” memory foam & gel mattress, a walk-in closet and 48” flat screen TV. The bedroom shares the large 4-piece bath with Bedroom #3.

The home also offers a laundry room with large full-size washer/dryer with a utility sink and a half bath located off of the Family room.

 Smoke Tree Ranch, next door and to the west of Araby Commons, where captains of the media industry, including Walt Disney, built homes.
 To the east on the hills Southridge Estates where Hollywood icons such as Bob Hope, William Holden, Steve McQueen and Allison Janney once lived. The Elroy House that was featured in the James Bond film, Diamonds Are Forever is also in Southridge.

Hacienda dos Palmas is conveniently located, just minutes to downtown Palm Springs and only 2.2 miles to the Palm Springs Airport. Places to visit:
 Palm Springs Arial Tramway is the world’s largest rotating aerial tram that goes to the top of Mount San Jacinto State Park. Once at the top you can see the whole valley. The Park has miles of trails to hike and explore. Pack a picnic or dine in one of the Parks restaurants and enjoy the views.
 Palm Springs Air Museum which has one of the largest collections of WWII aircraft. The docents are veterans, ready to share and answer any questions.
 Every Thursday night, VilliageFest Art Walk is hosted by the City of Palm Springs. Come join the fun on Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Amado Streets. Each block hosts different artists, handcrafted items, street entertainment and unique food. Local stores, restaurants and galleries stay open late. The event is 6pm – 10pm October – May and 7pm – 10pm June – September.
 Venture outside city limits to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens 20 minutes east.
 Joshua Tree National Park about an hour drive away.
