Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Envy". It's a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming home; perfect for the ideal Palm Springs vacation getaway. Built in 1961, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural aesthetic Palm Springs is known for. Any guest will appreciate the comforts and amenities the home offers from its sparkling pool to glorious views. Mid-century enthusiasts will delight in the true-to-original dĆ©cor. Youā€™ll find the home open and warm with just enough whimsy to make you smile each time you come home.

Every detail has been considered to suit the home's guests: it has been well-appointed and equipped to suit every visitor. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, shimmering saltwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and hot tub, natural gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of outdoor lounge seating, huge fireĀ pit, gaming court (ping pong, bocce)ā€¦ every guest will feel welcome! Hi-speed internet is at top speed so it can easily support all your devices. An excellent cable package enhances your retreat experience.

Hobby chefs will be thrilled to cook in the kitchen: stainless appliances, Carrera marble, gas top rangeā€¦ itā€™s all there to entertain the guests you travel with. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more.

The dining room can comfortably seat 8-10 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room, next to glass sliding doors, you can entertain both indoors and out, at the same time, and still enjoy company from the living room.

There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom (walk-in shower. Guest room 1 features a king bed and guest room 2 features a queen bed with a shared bathroom in the hallway (shower/tub combo). Separate from the main home, there is a casita featuring a king bed, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), seating area and breakfast nook. The casita also has its own private outdoor patio. Itā€™s a perfect retreat for grandparents, a nanny or a guest wanting to enjoy a bit more privacy while traveling with their favorite friends. If the kids are old enough to sleep away from the home, this is an ideal teenagerā€™s wing! There are TV's in each bedroom.

The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio with outdoor dining and seating for 8-10 guests. Perfectly situated just out and around the corner from the dining table is a natural gas grill. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience. Recline on the full-sized lounge bed for an afternoon nap or star gazing at night. More chaise lounges ensure plenty of the group can enjoy the sun and leave with envy-educing tans. Ā On the other side of the yard, you'll enjoy an outdoor gaming court. Yes, there is a ping pong table, bocce court, horse shoes, corn hole; daytime fun at it's best!Ā By night, a huge fire pit for an evening under the stars.Ā

This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a ā€œparty-centralā€ home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

A MCM experience that needs a little modernization!

The home offers a true mid-century modern experience! However, several issuesā€”like non-functioning cable boxes, old and worn dish towels, broken kitchenware, and frequent service visitsā€”took away from the stay. Trash from previous guests hadnā€™t been removed, and some appliances werenā€™t working as expected. While management responded quickly once notified, a home at this price point should have been fully prepared from the start.

Our stay at this stunning Palm Springs home was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stylish decor, immaculate cleanliness, and all the thoughtful touches that made our vacation truly special.The outdoor space was a dreamā€”private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. We spent our mornings sipping coffee by the pool and our evenings enjoying the firepit under the stars. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the open layout of the home was perfect for spending time together.The Craig and Scott were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The location was also fantasticā€”close to great restaurants, shopping, and all the best that Palm Springs has to offer.If you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable escape, this is the place! Great home with a great pool. Super well stocked kitchen which was great for me as a cook. Biggest complaint is the AC can't be turned down below 76Ā°, which we didn't know about until we got there. We were there during a heat wave and were sweating indoors. Everything else was great.

Reunion 2022

My 4 friends and I have been having this once a yr. reunion for almost 30 years. We've all known each other since grammar school, and we think we've stayed friends for so long because none of us have sisters. We come from all over the country- NY, NJ, Oregon and L.A.. This year was a little disappointing because of the weather ( cold and windy) and the time change ( the days were shorter, the pool was tough to get Into because of clouds) but the house was perfect- all the beds were comfy, the hot tub was VERY popular, and the restaurants were great! We did have to buy 2 adult size floats for the pool ( there were only children's sized there, which we ended up bringing home. The view from the pool was beautiful- snow on the mountain tops!

We booked for the 4th of July extended wknd and communication was excellent from the start. Clear and detailed info on the property and check-in process. Gregg was quick to respond and attentive to all communication. The house itself was perfect for our family, and extended family. House had everything we needed for our stay. Pool/jacuzzi were a hit! 2 kids under 5 and adults loved it!! Casita was super cute and perfect for the grandparents. Property location is convenient, short drive away fr downtown PS. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, fabulous house to go to relax and enjoy. We would definitely go back again. Thank you!!

We had the best time here!! The house is beautiful and the pictures 100% reflected the house in real life. We did have minor issues when we first got there (some outlets in the kitchen werenā€™t working, house was a bit warm for us and needed an extra fan) and Gregg, the property manager, was quick to answer and come over and fix the issue. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was stocked pretty well! We loved spending hours outside in the pool. Very close to downtown Palm Springs! Absolutely perfect and we already canā€™t wait to come back!

Perfect house for a large group

We rented this house for a girls trip, 8 total ladies. It was perfect for our big group. Plenty of space to spread out. Comfortable beds! We absolutely loved the salt water pool; so much better than stinky chlorine. We had one small problem when the refrigerator wasn't working. The management company was so fast to fix the problem, just fantastic service! We would absolutely stay here again!

The pictures don't lie - gorgeous relaxing spot

We enjoyed our stay, the property managers were great. The view of the mountains is spectacular, it's near everything, easy parking, great pool and hot tub and well equipt kitchen. The wifi didn't work for us but I assume this will be fixed by the time you're reading this. They arranged for me to use wifi at another property. Would love to stay again

Escape House

We wanted to take a few days away from quarantine. Found this home with casita for the great grandparents. And 3 additional BRs for the other two generations. Perfect size for the 6 adults and 2 children. The home was well stocked with essentials ( however, no salt, spices, sugar etc). Lots of yard activities for kids in addition to pool. I would stay here again for sure.

Lovely property and great facilities

Stayed here for my *cough* 60th birthday with a few of my closest friends. The property was comfortable, centrally located, and perfect for a quarantined getaway. We only ventured out to eat twice (one dinner and one lunch) but the kitchen was super-well stocked with all cooking utensils imaginable, and there are a large variety of restaurants that deliver. Everyone raved about the house and set-up. Thanks!

Great House!

We loved the layout of the house. Pool and firepit were very nice! There is not a Mountain View from the pool or firepit, but there is from the sun deck. Finishes were very nice, except for the master bath shower. Horribly low water pressure...and the faucet had to be on at the same time as the shower to get any hot water. This should be addressed ASAP! Location is fine, but planes flew over all day long since this is apparently in the flight path of the airport; however, they stop about 9 pm.

Fantastic getaway house for groups small or large

We stayed here with a group of friends and we loved it. The separate casita with its own bathroom and kitchenette was a hit with one couple, while the rest of us loved sharing the 3 BR/2 BA main house. The decor is fashionable and inviting (especially the accent walls!), and the house has a great indoor/outdoor flow that makes for excellent socializing. Kitchen glass doors slide open to create even more flow, if you want. The star was the salt water pool and the amazing view of the mountains. Hats off to the manager Scott and his team. Check-in was spot on and we definitely felt well taken care of! Highly recommend for anywhere from 2-8 people.

Great house & casita, lovely pool, yard & very clean

We were a group of 7 friends who stayed. Loved this house and private casita. Very private and quiet. The salt water pool and jacuzzi were awesome as well as the outdoor bocci Court and ping pong table. Fully stocked kitchen was great for our home cooked meals and had everything you needed with a huge dining table and outdoor picnic table. Appreciated the nice plush bed linens, towels and high end soaps and shampoo. The house was very clean and the RelaxPS management did a great job personally orienting us to the house at check in and explaining how to use and access everything in the house and yard. We had an awesome time here and are planning our return here again very soon.
