Front desk staff was not always courteous or listen to the issues presented.
Parking charge was a surprise as not clearly stated in the Expedia hotel description of the price.
Room key card system needs to be upgraded -- two days in a row Had to walk down to the front desk and have the cards re-magnetized. Did not keep them in pocket with phone or keys but in wallet - which staff presented as a reason.
Asked to have the room skipped on maid service on 12/16 since we were coming and going ad didn't feel room needed it. But on 12/18 expected it would be cleaned while away from 7 am until 3pm. Staff had no reason why it had not been done by that time but said someone would get to it after lunch. It did get cleaned bu had to leave the room while it was cleaned. That should not happen.
When checking out the manager was not terribly apologetic about any of my frustrations - then while I was sitting outside he called me and apologized profusely for my inconveniences during the stay and told me he was issuing a 20% refund on the stay. I still have not seen any evidence of that refund being processed or applied in my Capital One Visa account.
