The living room is furnished with collector-quality vintage pieces, including Adrian Pearsall couch and chair, and an extensive library of books devoted to architecture and design, with a special emphasis on Palm Springs. Local artists work is displayed throught this wonderful studio.

The newly renovated European-style kitchen is designed for more than simply making coffee. A full-size refrigerator and freezer and generous workspace make it easy to prepare everything from a simple breakfast to a leisurely gourmet dinner.

One of the studio’s most distinctive architectural elements is its original wood accordion wall, which separates the living/lounge area from the bedroom.

The wall is fully functional, allowing the studio to transform from an open loft-like space into a more private bedroom suite. It is a wonderful example of the kind of flexible, space-conscious design characteristic of midcentury interiors.
