"Lots of small things that added up to this not being a nice experience. Maybe because it is low season, but zero hostel vibes. There were actually families staying with small kids that would literally start screaming and shouting at 7am and won't stop. Ants everywhere, to the point that it was impossible to eat some of the things at breakfast. Cockroaches in the room. Staff asking me over breakfast to rate the hotel online with a QR code, and then it actually turned out to be their bar. Did not...

"We arrived in the night, luckily a transfer was waiting for us as absolutely no way could anyone with luggage climb up the steep steep incline to the hostel. We just wanted to wash and sleep, but no water! The water in the hostel must get turned off after a certain time. No shower, luckily we had a bottle of water otherwise we wouldn't have been able to brush our teeth. A loud box AC system mounted onto the wall. Windows didn't open with lots of condensation. We woke to the bum-gun spraying...

"The worst DIVE ever. Upon walking in to the area, it was completely nasty. Was offered a room without air conditioning. Are you serious in the Philippines!. Walked right out and did not get a refund eventhough we did not stay there and the terms of agreement were not honored! Be extra careful with these rip-offs!"
