"Room was adorable and comfortable with terrific views. Could see sunrise from the bed. Housekeeping could use a little work. Jet tub was a little dirty and glasses in cupboards were dirty. Understandable outside windows would be dirty but inside windows could use a little TLC. Linen left on balcony in front of room. Coffee available all day was great, very friendly staff. Restaurant noise was a little loud but when they were closed it was very peaceful. Close to restaurants and shops. Overall...

"All of above"

"Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast onsite is a lifesaver and delicious. Wish we had more of a view of the ocean from the balcony but some view is better than none. We always enjoy our stay here when visiting OOB and will continue to recommend the resort to our friends and family. Thanks for helping to make our vacation a grand time."

"Very clean room with very friendly and accommodating staff, plus the proximity to the beach is outstanding…Will definitely stay here again!"

"The staff a was very friendly. We did have a problem adjusting the temperature in the room. The WiFi was spotty. Location and breakfast was excellent!"

"Room was clean other than lack of supplies in room ex: 1/4 roll of toilet paper ,no Kleenex or paper towels . Dishes and utensils had to be washed before using and lack of bowls etc.. that usually are in full kitchen units .Split heating units were very noisy while trying to sleep. Over all great location for a weekend get away. Restaurant on location was on off season hours staff were great and food was good."

"This is an old house, and certain features could be deemed charming. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated some of the amenities. However, it seemed worn and bare-bones in some aspects. For example, the AC in one of the bedrooms was a stand-alone unit that was jerry-rigged to vent out the window, and the other bedroom had no AC. The screen door was broken. There were hardly any utensils and no bowls. The hairdryer “high” setting was broken and could only be used on “low”. For only a...

"Welcome drink was perfect"

"Clean room, friendly staff"

"Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation...

"Great location, very clean room and surrounding areas. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was great. We would definitely stay here again"

"Good breakfast and the room is clean."

"room was very modern, however some areas did not look well cleaned (edge if the bed had some dried white liquid). the surrounding area has nice shops but is very sketchy at night. did not feel comfortable with the parking situation. also at 6am sounded like maintenance or cleaning crew was constantly in and out of the elevator making tons of noise. was good for a night but wouldnt stay again."

"We loved everything. The only thing is the mattress is a little soft and you easily roll to the middle!"
