"This place was perfect for my family of 4. The kitchen was well equipped (even a bbq that we used a few times to grill local fish) and there were beach chairs, boogie boards and a surf board for us to use. The place is very comfortable and clean. We loved being so close to Hanalei - both the town and the beach! The host was also great - great communication and helpful tips and reminders. Thank you! "

"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. "

"The hosts were simply wonderful, as was the location. Right across the street is a sidewalk that connects with the main sidewalk that stretches from Brennecke’s Beach to Shipwreck Beach. Easy walking to either beach or the pool that we’re given access to. I used the unit’s backyard a lot for lounging or using the table. Keep in mind that there is no AC, but there are ceiling fans and a large floor fan to pull in cooler overnight air. "

"the host was available and responsive when needed. i booked at the last minute, and was graciously accommodated. the room was as in photos. very clean with all amenities needed for a pleasant visit. you can’t beat the location! I was a resident on Kauai for 10 years, and being in Poipu was a desirable area since it is convenient to restaurants and shopping if that’s of interest for you. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again myself in the future. "
