"Great place to stay! We called this cabin home for a week and it had everything we needed. Super close to shops and restaurants and the host is very happy to suggest places to visit and ways to spend time in the Bay of Islands region!"

"Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in"

"The room we stayed in (#3) was featured on their Expedia page and on their website and looked very good as far as motels are concerned, but we're pretty sure the photo was taken many, many years ago because everything in the room was just old and worn. The sheets and blankets were stained, and my husband was dubious as to whether they were even cleaned, so we ended up sleeping fully clothed. We didn't sit on the sofa because it was stained. "Sonya was lovely and welcoming. The cabins were simple but clean and tidy and had what we needed. Lovely fresh sheets and new duvee.We had sweet little calves in the paddock who were happy to come and say hello. We bought our food to cook. So used the big bbq. We could have done with some big knives but the small streak knives worked. And possibly a toaster for breakfast would have been good, but we stayed camping style and used the bbq.
